Visitors often rave about the breathtaking scenery, especially from the upper camping area, which overlooks a valley below. Good during the week day

Stayed here for a few nights, got a bit crowded with rowdy OHVers. Not as many sites as we hoped for. No cell reception but open skies for starlink. Few folks were flying paramotors.

Cows everywhere but they didn’t bother the dogs.

Bad neighbors

It's a pretty place but the sites are too close and there are a few huge spots that attract assholes. We had two nights with generators running, techno music blasting and guns in the morning. This was the worst campsite I have ever been to. We had to go to the neighbors site at 930 pm and tell them to shut the music off because it was so loud. I'm talking professional grade concert level, couldn't hear the person next to you. I don't recommend even trying this area.

Private and Convenient

We stayed two non consecutive nights during our trip. The first we stayed on a Thursday and we were able to drive in a bit more and get a private site close to the rock. We set our chairs up on the rock to watch sunset, it was super windy. Others were there but it was quiet and some space. The second night was Saturday night, we knew we were going to be back late so we stayed here in the open area. There were three others in the open area but we were all spread out so felt private enough for our late arrival and early morning departure.

Spectacular views

There are two primary camping areas. The first on on the right ioverlooks a secondary camping area in the valley below, about a half mile further.  We were at the upper area which 6+ camping area depending on how close you want to be. The lower area is much more conducive to large RVs, but the views won’t be as spectacular.

Lots af rock campfire rings.

No facilities, water, electricity, or bathrooms.

No trees for shade

Bumpy ride but good camping

It was super windy when we went but still enjoyed our stay. We made in in our ram pro-master and saw some big rigs up there, but the roads were still quite difficult to drive. We managed our way up there though and found a decent spot

Beautiful

This is a nice site with some great views. We managed to get our dual axel 38’ travel trailer in with little effort. Though the roads in were a bit muddy.

T-Mobile only has 1 bar but the area is free of large trees and obstructions so the star link works great.

There are several mountain bike trail heads close by.

A nice spot but can get very busy!

This is a relatively large campsite that can get pretty busy during peak season. The southern part is a big wide field suitable for lots of big rigs to line up. The northern side has an outcropping of rocks and trees, so if you have a smaller setup, you can get into a more private spot. We visited this spot once in June and once in January. When we were here in June, this area was really busy, but we were tent camping and we’re able to find a nice spot along the rocks. When we came in January, we were tue only campers there and we’re able to pull into the best spot.

Bartlett Flat Dispersed camping

This is the second of several free dispersed camping pod areas along Dubinky Well Road. This area is a large open flat area and good for large TTs and RVs. Access road spur looks scary as is a narrow sandy road but seems ok as many large campers had accessed the open area. No water, trash, toilets or cell signal.

Where is Bartlett Flats located in Moab and how do I get there?
