Sites are spread along Hollow Road, giving campers room to spread out without close neighbors, though free-roaming cattle share the land and may wander through camp.
The terrain is worth knowing before you arrive. Most sites sit on uneven ground, and leveling a rig or tent can take some effort. One reviewer had to use rocks to level a rooftop tent setup. That said, vehicle access is manageable. Skylar K. notes it was "easy to get to, drove with my Subaru Forester Wilderness," though a bit of ground clearance helps for certain sites. Cell service is available here, which not all dispersed camping near Dixie National Forest can offer.
The surrounding area gives campers access to Bryce Canyon National Park and Red Rock Canyon for day trips. Nearby dispersed options include Cabin Hollow FS #121 Dispersed Camping just to the south and BLM 121 to the northwest. Stays are permitted up to 16 days. Summer fills quickly, so arriving early in the week improves your chances of securing a workable site.
