Small CG but close in

This small single site CG is across hwy from the greendale group site. $25/12.50 senior, 8 sites, only three sites are FCFS, rest are reservable. One older vault toilet, one water spigot, one dumpster. Issues are the busy gravdl road to the pvt RV park and the hwy noise.

Nice small CG in the pines

This cg is very nice, only 8 sites and every other one is either reserved or FF. No water but vault toilets are open. Dusty dirt road adjacent to the CG that goes to a over RV park may be an issue for sites close to that side. Dumpster on site. Cell signal good. Only 4 stars due to water system not working, otherwise 5 stars. Not close to any water for boating though. NOTE that the Greendale Group Campground is across the hwy and is a different camp unit from this Greendale Campground which is all single family sites

Essential National Forest Camping

Visited this campsite in the Summer of 2020 many times and am just getting around to reviewing it - I almost didn’t want to because I want to keep its secrets all to myself! Sometimes we would just come here to hang out because the space is so nice.

Actual campsites are great, there’s tons of room between them and each space is allotted its own privacy. On two occasions, we saw an elk and a coyote, which was very cool.

Campground is very close to Vernal, where we stayed for a duration of the summer, so I highly recommend this campsite to anyone in the area.

Greendale Campground

Stayed only one night, a Saturday. Full but quiet. Sites are pretty spacious and level. Stayed in #6. Trash container, water spigot. Had Verizon extended network coverage.

Very Green

This is a small campground just before you reach the pineforest campground. It is rather small but very peaceful. The sites come have firepits and picnic tables. There is green grass throughout the entire campground with well maintained roads. There is toilet facilities available in this campground. Alot of trees and foliage adds to the privacy of the sites. RV sites with no hookups or tent sites available.
