Small but Perfect

I always stay at Greendale Family CG when visiting Flaming Gorge area because there is a store, gas station and restaurant within walking distance.

Beautiful Stream, but Noisy

Nice campground with 20 spots. Not full on Sunday. Close to US 20 and Henry’s Fork. No UTV-Off-road vehicles.

High and Cool

Mixed tenting and trailers with a congenial host.

Shaded Tent Sites Small Sites

Quiet and secluded but sites are quite close together. Cool and in the aspens.

Poor Access, Small Area

Hot and exposed with a poor road accessing. I think for $20/night we could run a grader down the driveway.

Immaculate, Quiet and a Great Host -Good Tent Sites!

My friends and I stopped for an overnight on a motorcycle adventure in late March 2021.  We camped in the Coati Loop on the eastern end of the CG across from the restroom with flush toilets and sink.  Each site has a picnic table and shade ramada (canopy).  A water spigot was nearby with great water.

We were fortunate to have inherited a host named Larry who was there for a few months because Covid prevented him from traveling to Europe.  He built walls, planted drought tolerant plants and raked the campsites each night.   I have never been a better tended campground in my life!

High in the Jackpines

About 15 miles from 3 Way on 78, a nice little CG w pit toilets and no water. Though next to the road, there isn’t much traffic and our night was peaceful. I would guess that there are a dozen sites, fairly flat and good for tenting.
