Tye RV Park

Tye RV Park, near Abilene, Texas, is a convenient stop for travelers looking for a comfortable place to rest. With 124 sites, it’s designed to accommodate both RVs and tents, making it a versatile option for different camping styles.

The park boasts clean facilities, including showers and restrooms, which visitors have praised for their upkeep. Many campers have highlighted the new laundry facility, available for free to guests, as a major perk. One reviewer noted, “Awesome laundry facility in the same building which are free to paying customers,” making it easy to refresh your gear during your stay.

For those traveling with pets, the park is pet-friendly and features a nice dog run. There’s also a private pond for catch-and-release fishing, although some campers mentioned they didn’t see many fish. The park’s location near the highway provides easy access, but be prepared for some noise from passing traffic and the occasional flyover from nearby Dyess Air Force Base.

Great safe place to stay

Spent a week here in March, great facilities bathroom/showers very clean. Awesome laundry facility in same building which are free to paying customers. Be prepared for fly overs from AFB but I loved the fly overs! Nice dog run and there is a private pond to fish in but I didn’t see any fish. Nice area to stop over even for a night.

Hello, and thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. The pond is really peaceful. I believe we have stocked the pond since your visit. When you walk out on the dock fish and turtles pop up all around looking for a snack. =) Hope you visit us again. Safe travels!

Nice little park

We stayed while attending the races at Abilene Speedway.

Park was clean, good space between sites, little close to highway with noise.

Would recommend, for sure.

Super nice staff, clean camp

This is more of a 1-night stop over place. The sites are really close together but most are pull-through sites. No picnic tables, just a place to park. Has power water and sewer.

The stag is super friendly and the WiFi works. Free laundry and a bath house with a code to get in.

But. I knew there would be noise from the freeway as it is just off the freeway (I-20). BUT there is also a train that blows its horn AND it’s in a flight path so there are jets flying over pretty regularly (it’s 11:22 pm as I write this. I plan to put on a gray noise machine so MAYBE it will help me sleep.

Great place for most, not if you need quiet time.

This place is new and their facility is prestine with great FREE washing machines and all new hookups. The bad is it alligns with the airport runway perfectly, right next to the railway and highway. Most people are there full time and some keep dogs outside. As long as you are ok with all those aspects, you will be ok. We god a great night sleep even with all the noise.

Great spot for the night

Emily I believe, checked me in and was super sweet and easy to work with. She let us pic our own spot!

The rv park itself is right off highway which is good and bad. A little noisy but not bad for easy access after long day of driving

They have all new laundry facilities (which are free to use!!) and new showers that look really nice

The spot itself also has nice hookups, the septic hole was clean and the power box seemed new

Great spot to go to!

Little Gem Right off Highway

This park has new owners as of February this year! Rates start at 35.00 for level gravelled and paved spots but no qshade trees as yet. Pool is being built now and they have nicest laundry facility we’ve ever seen- best part is there are 9 machines which are FREE and new. Some highway noise as to be expected. Friendly staff and nice and clean. This park is mostly for long-term but have 16 pull - through designated sites in the front of park with newly planted trees. Highly recommend this great stopover!
