RidgeView RV Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting on a ridge above I-20 on the east side of Abilene, RidgeView RV Resort provides full hookups with 50/30 amp electric, water, and sewer at rates between $40 and $55 per night. Sites are sand and gravel with an artificial grass patch at each, and reviewers note that many are not completely level. Road noise from the interstate is a factor, though sites farther from the office sit at the greatest distance from the highway. The paved asphalt internal roads hold up well for walking. Facilities include a pool, laundromat, dog park, and bathrooms that reviewers describe as clean and modern, though only three shower and bathroom units serve the entire park. Campers who want a different setup can compare campgrounds near Abilene or check Whistle Stop RV Resort a couple of miles west.

Guests frequently mentioned this newer park's clean facilities and large sites, though leveling challenges and highway noise were noted concerns. Many appreciated the modern amenities and good utility hookups despite the hard gravel surfaces.

Great location, near everything

Fairly new park on top of hill. Stayed long term so very familiar with park. Next to I-20 so there’s that. Good pool, dog park, laundromat with pay per load on machines-card. Hard Gravel parking- most sites not completely level, astroturf yard. Roads are asphalt paved so great for walks. Did not use showers. Good sewer, water pressure and 50/30 amp available-included for overnight. Good Spots just for overnight folks-Pull through. Backin long term-very good- best in area for electric kWh price. Good long term rent price. First A.I. mega center being built in the area so wait list long term.

New Park but lacks amenities

They park is new and clean. Sites are large but hard to find level on many of them. Staff is great. Bathroom and showers are clean but only three for entire park. No game room and pool is closed for winter

Great newer park

Right off I-20 in Abilene. A variety of pull through and back-in full hookup sites. Sites are sand/gravel with an artificial grass patch for each. Laundry and bath sites are new clean and modern. Nice pool and fire pit area next to the camp store. There is some road noise from I 20, sites farthest away from the office are farthest from the highway. The park sits on a high ridge providing beautiful west Texas sunsets.
