    Lubbock RV Park

    Convenient with Trees

We stopped for one night going to Santa Fe. The park has lots of greenery, level sites and a great dog park. Full hook ups were nicely placed, and we were conveniently placed near the dog park. The showers, library and exercise room was orderly and clean. Very pleasant environment overall.

    Good Park

I stayed here for one overnight stop. The sites were small in my opinion but they had a good dog park and we’re friendly and it was a safe campground.

    Great Travel Stop

Stopped here for the night on the way to New Mexico. Right on highway 84. Road noise is not too bad. Bathhouse is super clean and so is laundry area. There is a small dog park. Have great Verizon and TMobile service. OTA channels are fantastic, with over 60 clear channels. Park also has cable but we didn’t need it. No shade at all so be prepared to run ac constantly in summer. Very low humidity though.

    Lubbock KOA

Clean, convenient place to stop for the night.

Clean place to stop for the night, while traveling through.  It was a good value in terms of price. Fairly quiet at night.

One item to consider is that the back side of the park, right off the main (busy) road, was not fenced.  So, it may be a consideration if you are traveling with kids, pets or by yourself.  Did feel safe, overall.

    Twin Pine RV Park

    Safe, clean park, friendly staff

Location is right off Hwy 84, Slaton, Texas, so traffic is loud. We reserved a spot and did not pay the 'confirm' fee to ensure that we got that spot (so, they reserved the right to change us). However, when we got there, the host offered us a better spot--yay. We had grass adjacent to us (other spots did not) and it was close to bathroom/shower (they were clean). Site was level, not shaded, no table. There were a number of long-term residents, park was clean, well-kept and otherwise peaceful (aside from hwy noise).

    Twin Pine RV Park

    Clean and Easy

The campground is right off Hwy 84 but the road noise is very minimal with more of a hum and lack of jake-braking. Some train noise in the distance, but during our week-long stay, we were never woken up by one. This is a quiet campground. The long term tenants live their daily lives and keep to themselves. The dog area is just a fenced in section up front. No poop bags, but there is a bucket for you to throw away your own. The sites are very large all with full hookup. If you are here during high winds, the interstate berm/overpass blocks much of it. Expect lots of dust, but no trash. They keep things picked up. Good for passing through or just staying outside of Lubbock.

If you have kids: You are close to the Lubbock Science Spectrum Museum which is part of the ASTC Passport Program. It is a great place to spend the day.

    Lubbock RV Park

    Nice place, very clean

Good access off the highway. Lots of shade in our spot and most others. Bathrooms and showers were very spacious and exceptionally clean. Site was plenty big enough with a gravel base that was level. Workout room and community area closed due to COVID-19. Dog area, playground and pool were well maintained. A very good stop over for one night.

    Forrest Park

    Lovely free spot in town!

Stayed here just a night but what a find! Free camping with hookups right in town. Fantastic AT&T service and plenty of space to walk the dog or play with the kids. Once you enter, you’ll see hookups on your right. These have electric and water. If you continue past the rest room, you’ll see another pull off on the right which has electric hookups only. The restroom was clean but only open during park hours. Noise settled down around 8pm and started back up around 7am. Definitely would recommend to anyone passing through. They do accept donations! Also would recommend swinging by Tin Buck Coffee, very close and very delicious!
