      Stone Creek RV Park

      Just off i35

Super easy to get to off i35 between New Braunfels and San Antonio. The park is nice but could use some updating. The daily sites are up front and those are kept up, but if you walk around the park the ones near the back that are mostly monthly rentals could use some TLC. The playground was okay but the dog parks were nicer. It was cold so we skipped the pools but they have two.

We stayed three weeks here after being caught in the Texas Arctic vortex. They were very accommodating considering we extended our stay twice. The location is super convenient and about 30-45 minutes from the River walk.

Clean and Fun Stay, Our Dogs Loved It!

What a lovely stay! The facilities were all very clean and updated. The stocked fish pond was beautiful and the dog park was also nice. There were always some friendly pups there when we took our dogs. There's a greenbelt walk right next to the site we were at as well. Bikes to rent, friendly staff, happy campers all over, what more can you ask?

      Stone Creek RV Park

      Best price around the area

Got there on a Sunday and there is a gun range close, you can hear the shooting but stop before night. nice jacuzzi and swimming pool. Very nice large and small dog parks. Sites are not well level but most of them have a gazebo. Just make a one night stop for rest and I will stay there again, close to walmart, gas stations and restaurants.

      Travelers World RV Resort

      Top notch RV resort.

It is almost exactly what you’d expect and want. A pricey place to stay, but very close to downtown San Antonio with all the amenities and services you would expect to find and a high end RV resort. Laundry, a dog park, free WiFi, large paved roads and well spaced sites. Showers were in great shape and staff were incredibly friendly. If you have the cash and want to be close to downtown, this is the place!

      Great stop

We stayed here for two days. Gated community with coin laundromat that is open 24/7. Full showers and bathrooms, full hook ups, and a little RV parts store in the office. There is a pool, playground, and dog park on site. Management is very kind and helpful.

      Fort Sam Houston Army RV

      Great campground

We were here for two weeks visiting our son and daughter in law. It was a great place to base camp while we explored and visited. Concrete pads, level, full hookups, spacious sites. Picnic tables and grills on each site also. The laundry was small but very clean and nice. Bath house was clean also even if a bit older. Lots of trees and shade in areas. A small dog park for off leash was available. Office was available and very nice staff. Lots of grassy areas to walk our dog. We truly enjoyed our stay here!

      San Antonio Alamo KOA

      Everything you need!

This place is amazing! We are only a 10 minute drive from the Riverwalk and the Alamo. About a 15 to 20 minute drive from the missions. Roads are paved lots have nice room! Some lots have a concrete patio that has picnic table swing grill and fire pit. There’s lots to do for families. Nice spacious playground for kids a swimming pool a fishing pond activities in the hole. Which tonight they’re having a Super Bowl party at. There is a small café, a dog park and many other activities like bike rentals. This place has a lot of things to offer in. This will definitely be a place we return!

      Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort

      Great place to escape hurricanes

We hid from Hurricane Delta here for 3 nights and had a great time. The staff are friendly and professional. The grounds, pool, children’s playground, Bocchy Ball lane, and store are immaculate. Two sizes of dog parks for large and small breeds. I saw a mailbox in their office for outgoing mail & what appeared to be an incoming pkg for a guest there. They have 3 large dumpsters for campground trash.

For Handicapped Accessability: Do not accept a pad in the 100 row as they are not as wheelchair accessable as the 200 row of pads. I don’t know about the 300 to 800 rows of pads.

I applied a complimentary BS sticker on my camper’s stern. We will stop there again.

    What you should know

City noise considerations: Some campgrounds near main roadways experience traffic noise. At Blazing Star Luxury RV Resort, Mary G. cautions, "Only downside is it's right off major road, so noisy if you're in the first couple rows."

Security variations: Campground security measures differ significantly. At Mission City RV Park, kristin S. explains, "Security is excellent and everyone is given a unique code for the car gate." Other facilities may have limited after-hours security staffing.

Maintenance differences: Campground upkeep varies widely in this region. Zachary H. notes about Braunig Lake Park, "I couldn't tell you what the money for the campsite was going towards. Tips from RVers

Access considerations: Some campgrounds have challenging approach roads. Victoria G. from Bar M RV Park reports, "Super friendly check-in office staff. Propane on site, large laundry. Gated and clean. Everything I needed." However, other reviewers note difficult entrance roads at certain facilities.

Laundry facilities: Multiple campgrounds offer laundry services with varying capabilities. At Mission City RV Park, HandL C. stated, "You don't get a much nicer RV park than this in a major city. It hits all of the marks: mass transit at your doorstep; pool, laundry, showers and a gift shop at the entrance; easy pull-through, level sites."

Site types: Consider specific site needs when reserving. According to Roxanna L. from Hidden Valley RV Park, "It was quiet, and site was large. The only negative things I have to say are the WiFi was nonexistent and we have our own on board. The road leading into the campground is a dirt rock road and very bumpy, dusty and has holes."
