From Website: "Our Campgrounds host 30 Tent Campsites and 5 RV Electric Sites. We’re located 1 mile from the Hueco Tanks park entrance gate on paved roads. Campsites measure approx. 15 ft. x 15 ft. and can hold 2-3 standard tents (4-6 people maximum). If you have a large group we will provide additional Campsites according to availability."
Sombra Antigua is on the site of one of the first vineyards established in New Mexico after the end of prohibition. Nestled in the Mesilla valley among the Rio Grande pecan orchards. Established in 2012 we have a tasting room with beer and wine and a small kitchen on weekends when we also have live music on our outside patio.

pulled into the loves parking lot that I had scoped out on Google maps. pulled directly into the first lane of pumps with the ass end blocking traffic. And from there, I could just pull forward and back into my spot full of fuel.
In the morning I made a reservation so I can stay here another night as well. I was just going to stay one night. But I can get Propane within walking distance of my truck and the subway shop isn't much farther. Maybe I'll check out the laundry facilities, too. I've already filled the freshwater tank and the water seems fine. Good thing I do not need to dump my black tank because even with the extension, I don't think my hoses would reach. The flaw in the design is that all the sites are back in and the pedestals and sewer ports are behind the RV when parked. Don't worry though because there is a dump station even closer than the propane refill. All six sites orient each camper pretty much due east west with the passenger side to the south. Actually, putting a sewer connection at each site is overkill when there is a nearby dump station, that you can use on your way in or your way out. For one night stops that's all you need. The street noise is tolerable. All the big trucks go to the opposite side of this complex. There were distant train noises and I could barely see the tops of a few cars over the western horizon. Getting the power turned on took a couple phone calls and unintelligible conversations over the intercom setup at the kiosk. I got $72 of propane and the attendant even carried a full 20 and 40 over to my site. While in the office paying for that I got them to turn the power back on, which was turned off at noon because yesterdays stay was over and todays had not started. This gas station and“travel stop” does not sell beer?!?!?!?!? Make sure to ask for your favorite adult beverage, maybe they will get some

My bus was squeaking, twisting, driving at an angle, and it was a brutal drive... While I'll not come back because it's not well maintained, it does have very beautiful vistas, so that's why it got 3 stars.

Had our own water, no electric sites. But El Paso, AKA The Sun City, provides plenty of sun for solar ;) Could use some more bathrooms, LOTS of tent spaces, some hike-in. Well developed trails, but LOTS of scree, so can be slippery going up, definitely slippery hiking down- - take hiking poles. Not sure what mtn bike trails are like, so check specific reviews for them. Visitor center has very cool 3d map of area. Gates locked from 1700-0800. They give you the padlock combo for entry/exit but took a couple minutes to figure out how the gate latch worked particularly at night (needed flash light). Hiked to Aztec Cave. Have done Cottonwood Springs hike….~55 yrs ago! -->Beautiful weather December (76°).

Water, electric and dump station for $15/ night. It is just a parking lot though. The steak house was excellent and the staff are all friendly and helpful. There are 6 RV sites on a first come first serve basis. I arrived early afternoon and there were already 2 rigs parked. The Dyrt directions took me across the street not to the casino.

We stayed for 3 nights at Fort Bliss and just Wow!!! It has to be one of the best RV parks we have stayed so far.
The Pros: -Great spots -Great pricing ($25-$35 a night) -Laundry mat ($1 wash, $1 dry) -Dog run -Big grass area to play -Family group hall
The Cons: -Water pressure seemed pretty high, just so happens I lost our regulator and we blew out a hose(thankfully not an RV line) -Hot(it’s TX desert🤷🏼♂️)

ScoutWe stayed one night and really enjoyed the stay. They have a large outdoor covered wine tasting area that allows dogs. An excellent wine sampling set helped choose a good wine. I’m not a normal wine connoisseur, but the staff was helpful in finding options that I liked. The RV area is just a big parking lot with one electric hookup. The surrounding area is beautiful wine and pecan orchards. Loved this place!

Had to make an unexpected stop in El Paso. Was thankful for a place to pull in. Full hookups. The pad area is well maintained; perimeter areas not so much. Good for a basic, utilitarian stay. Within walking distance to Rudy's if you want some good Texas BBQ.

They have showers but the women’s were out of order. Laundry was $3 for wash/dry. Also able to receive packages here which was nice. Had electric/water/sewage and a store with parts for minor repairs.

When we booked Mission RV Park, I didn’t really look into it that much. We didn’t know what to expect. Turns out, it’s our new favorite spot to stay when passing through El Paso. The staff are incredibly friendly! They told us about some local attractions that did not disappoint! You are right off the highway, but the campground feels very safe all things considered. Everything is paved and feels super level. They were very accommodating for our dogs and tried to give us a site with a nice sunset view! Would stay here again 100%. They also have an indoor pool and hot tub that are open until 8pm!

…yeah the manager said this to my husband. Guess what, we own the BMW motorcycle and the house behind it in the picture. I wish I could leave zero stars because of the disrespectful treatment my husband received. I’m still in disbelief this seriously happened. I want to let everyone know the RV park person managing during the day on Feb. 16, 2024 was very inappropriate and rude. My husband was kicked out because his camper/tiny home did not have pumps. The manager accused of scamming the RV park, for being poor, and lying about where he works. For one thing, a person CANNOT assume by the way a person looks like and second, why would anyone lie about where he works, especially that place specifically. He can show his ID from his place of work. Wouldn’t that be unlawful? Because of his place of work, the last thing my husband would do is anything unlawful and he has worked for the same company for the last 17 years. He built the camper with his own two hands AND he disclosed everything with pictures when he paid for the first month’s rent. How in the world is he scamming when he paid the lot rent earlier than the date he actually planned to move in. In Tucson, we own a$400K home, own a BMW motorcycle, and a Toyota Tacoma with A LOT of aftermarket add ons which may cost more than some of the campers in the RV park. He enjoys building things and took great pride in the build of the camper. Actually, so MANY people actually stop by and ask if they can take a picture of the camper because of how intriguing it is. Whoever the guy was, really needs to take classes on social/people skills and what is and IS NOT okay to say to people, especially customers. It did not have to go down that route and accuse my husband of being a scammer and a liar. Who in their right mind would talk to a customer like that, especially when the customer(my husband) was respectful when the wife of the fat white guy approached him and told him he couldn’t stay there because his camper doesn’t have pumps. My husband said okay and was ready to leave and not cause trouble. The fat white guy just HAD to come out and put in his rude 2 cents. NOT OKAY!!

GuideThis RV park is military ship-shape. Clean, level cement pads. Nice wide sites with aprons to set out chairs and barbeque. Weather was perfect. It's FCFS but calling ahead made us confident we could get a site. Military ID required. Wonderful facilities and very inexpensive. The only draw-back is road noise from Hwy 54. Otherwise great!

GuideA small RV park located in a perfect place on the West side of El Paso. Located just down the street is an excellent Mexican restaurant that has outstanding food.
RangerThis was supposed to be just a rest stop. We had so much fun and did so much mountaineering that we never rested! Climbed to the kiva cave and saw ancient pictographs and amazing wildlife. Nice clean sites with good power and water. Restrooms fine just a little dark. Staff was helpful and just awesome! Wi-fi available but not at our site. Signal too weak
TravelerWe came off season and it looked like everything was closed up but we found the primitive camping that we were looking for and then were greeted by the host within 5 minutes.
They allowed our stay since we are fully self-contained, with a porta potty and carrying our own water. Host is very congenial.
LegendThis is an amazing park. So many pictographs to find. This is a busy area for climbing/bouldering in the cooler months. Since this is a historical, archaeological, sacred area there are some extra rules to follow. Everyone must watch an informative video on the park and some areas are restricted. Campsites are relatively small but most have a picnic area, tent pads, and a driveway. Some sites are water and electric and some water only. Lots of wildlife in the park. About 15-20 minutes to major stores and restaurants. Lots to do in El Paso area. About 2 hours to Carlsbad or White sands. Negative note bathrooms are older and basic. Basically no shade at campsites. Cell service not great in camp area but rest of park was good for Verizon.
GuideThis place was great for an overnight stay. The sites are level dirt, asphalt drives and FHU sites. The price point is excellent (<$50/night for FHU pull-thru). The campground does offer weekly and monthly rates. We just don't like being packed in like sardines being only 3ft from your neighbor on either side. But, they have everything you could need, bathhouses, 24hr laundry, Campground Store, areas to walk the dog. We'd stay here again if passing through El Paso for sure!
