Only the Best

NOTE: Park is only for Active, Reservist, Retired Military members, their dependents, and blood relatives being escorted.

We stayed for 3 nights at Fort Bliss and just Wow!!! It has to be one of the best RV parks we have stayed so far.

The Pros: -Great spots -Great pricing ($25-$35 a night) -Laundry mat ($1 wash, $1 dry) -Dog run -Big grass area to play -Family group hall

The Cons: -Water pressure seemed pretty high, just so happens I lost our regulator and we blew out a hose(thankfully not an RV line) -Hot(it’s TX desert🤷🏼‍♂️)

We will most definitely stay here everytime we go through El Paso

Super but noisy

This RV park is military ship-shape. Clean, level cement pads. Nice wide sites with aprons to set out chairs and barbeque. Weather was perfect. It's FCFS but calling ahead made us confident we could get a site. Military ID required. Wonderful facilities and very inexpensive. The only draw-back is road noise from Hwy 54. Otherwise great!

Great rv park but lots of road noise!

Fort Bliss had a great famcamp. The sites were very nice, but its first come first serve and we got put in the last row along the highway. It forced us inside because it was not any fun to listen to. Surprisingly, the famcamp was not on base, which was also a little disappointing. There is lots to see and do in the area, and we're glad we stayed a few nights to check it out, but would not go back unless we needed a place in the area.

Nice military park, okay location

Nice park with about 130 pull thru spots. It is very crowded however and with a location near a highway it is nothing to write home about. Small park, 3 fenced in dog areas, and a laundry facility. There is a "family community room", but that and the shower/bath house have been closed due to covid.

Extremely Clean and very well designed

This is a 130 spot park. Totally designed with pulling through in mind. All sites are concrete and full hook up. Excellent over the air TV reception. Verizon coverage is solid 5 bars. They have WiFi however it is limited to the “family room” only. Due to COVID, thus is closed. Easy access from I-10 to US52. This facility is limited to DoD agencies only. There is a Shopette across the street from the entrance. Costs range from $18-25 depending on your status. Would definitely stop here again. The only down side is it’s first come, first serve no reservations. The staff at the office were extremely helpful

Pretty good RV Park. All sites are paved and level. Most are pull thru as well. No internet or cable at the sites. Close to downtown El Paso.

Frequently Asked Questions

What military ID requirements are needed to stay at Fort Bliss RV Park?

Fort Bliss RV Park is exclusively for military personnel and their families. Valid military ID is required for all guests, specifically limited to Active Duty, Reservists, Retired Military members, their dependents, and blood relatives being escorted by an authorized ID holder. The park strictly enforces these requirements, so ensure you have proper identification before arrival. Non-military civilians without appropriate military connections cannot access this facility.

What amenities and facilities are available at Fort Bliss RV Park?

Fort Bliss RV Park offers comprehensive amenities including full hookup sites on level concrete pads. The park features three fenced dog areas, a laundry facility with commercial machines, exercise room, and a media/family community room (note that some indoor facilities may have restricted access during health protocols). While no cable TV is available, the park receives excellent over-the-air TV reception. Cell service is strong with solid Verizon coverage. WiFi is limited to the family room area rather than individual sites. The campground is well-maintained with a military-grade cleanliness standard throughout all facilities.

What is the cost to stay at Fort Bliss RV Park and do I need reservations?

Fort Bliss RV Park offers very economical rates ranging from $25-$35 per night for full-hookup sites. The park operates primarily on a first-come, first-served basis, though calling ahead is recommended to check availability. Despite not taking formal advance reservations, many campers find spots available even without booking ahead. The excellent value for the amenities provided makes this one of the more budget-friendly options for eligible military personnel in the El Paso area. For current pricing and availability, contacting the campground directly is advised.

How does Fort Bliss RV Park compare to other RV parks in El Paso, Texas?

Fort Bliss RV Park stands out among El Paso options for its exceptional value and military-grade maintenance. With approximately 130 pull-through sites on concrete pads, it offers superior organization and cleanliness compared to many civilian alternatives. The park's proximity to both downtown El Paso and base facilities provides convenient access to urban amenities while maintaining the security and community feel of a military facility. While highway noise is mentioned as a drawback, the park compensates with excellent facilities, lower rates than comparable civilian parks, and convenient access to services including a nearby gas station and Walmart. The primary limitation is its exclusive availability to military personnel.
