Pleasantly Surprised!

When we booked Mission RV Park, I didn’t really look into it that much. We didn’t know what to expect. Turns out, it’s our new favorite spot to stay when passing through El Paso. The staff are incredibly friendly! They told us about some local attractions that did not disappoint! You are right off the highway, but the campground feels very safe all things considered. Everything is paved and feels super level. They were very accommodating for our dogs and tried to give us a site with a nice sunset view! Would stay here again 100%. They also have an indoor pool and hot tub that are open until 8pm!

Nice CG for Convenient Overnight Stay

We stayed one night (May 30, 2022). The is a nice, easy access CG with large, level pull through and back in gravel sites. It is located at the I-10 and 375 interchange next to a trucking container storage facility– there is a lot of road noise and trucking activity, but no bother. The WiFi was good as was cell service. There are a number of activities available: clubhouse, indoor swimming, tennis and basketball courts, playground, horseshoes, biking and walking (within the RV park). We did not make use of the laundry, bathrooms or showers. It was convenient for an overnight stay. We would stay here again.

Great Stop Over

We spent one night here and it was just fine. We drove up with no reservation and the clerk was very friendly. I sell online and she even shipped my package for me. Internet is fine, big covered pool, dog area, lots of picnic tables. We are in an RV so we didn’t hear any noise at all. It’s really a great stop that’s right off the I10.

Not as expected

We checked out the website prior to booking and were planning on staying for a full week, which luckily didn’t pan out. When we checked in we were told we could only stay a night, despite having made a week-long reservation. Understandable given the circumstances, but it would’ve been prudent to inform of that fact on the website. The receptionist was helpful and gave us a number to another rv park in the proximity, which was sweet of her. The park seems to have good amenities, and there is a little dog park at the end of the lot and a pool by the office, but it is right next to a truck storage facility and right by the I10, so it isn’t the most tranquil. The website is slightly misleading, and I don’t think I would stay here more than a night or two.

Good for RVs, not great for tents

Crowded RV park, but had trees which was nice! Right off I-10 so traffic noise is always present. This would be a good place for RV camping, but not tent camping.
