Bending Oaks Ranch RV Resort

Bend oats has the best tree coverage of any other campground we have been too. Only on problem is that some sites have low hanging tree branches and not very many 50 amp hook ups. Other than that, beautiful place.

Made a reservation to camp here. Campground called me to ask a few questions about our camper. We own a Jeep Gladiator with an AluCab cabin camper. I was told that it is not RVIA certified camper so they would not allow us to camp there. There is NOTHING on their website about a RVIA certified unit. I had to google what that even was. The staff member that called couldn’t even tell me what it was or why it was required.

Beautiful camp ground with nice sites. Not crowded. Excellent AT&T signal. Would stay here again.

We spent a long weekend at Bending Oaks Ranch just outside Fredericksburg. The staff call you in advance to confirm your reservation and estimated arrival time and reservation details. Upon arrival, Lisa met us at the gate in a golf cart and escorted us to our site and went over the amenities and any questions we had. There was a informational packet on our picnic table with everything we could possibly need to know about what the town has to offer. Sites are spacious and those in the back half of the park were extremely well shaded with huge oak trees. We were buried among the trees in site H2 and absolutely loved it. Full hookups throughout the park and looked very well kept. Extremely quiet and serene. The park is 21+ which we loved and allows pets. The fenced in dog run is kept clean and nicely shaded. We put this park at the top of our list for future trips to Fredericksburg, and highly recommend it.

Found this quiet, peaceful, serene little gem tucked away just 4 miles from Fredericksburg. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. We were met by the friendliest staff member, Stacy upon our arrival. She went above & beyond to make sure our stay was perfect…including setting up the handicap bath/shower facilities for my mom! They’re in the process of making some changes & in my opinion it is for the better!

There are level, shady sites with picnic tables. Clean bathrooms/showers. They are renovating so office is closed and no market but there's one across the street! I'm gonna guess the renovations will be great!

This location is a great find especially in the Texas heat! This use to be a KOA but now an adult resort I really like the changes they are making including some spots will have grill with patio seating. Most spots they have are fully shaded with trees and the area is kept immaculate for the next person arriving. Several RV parks in the area did not offer any shade I cannot imagine the heat especially the day I left it was 100 degrees. There are two wineries in walking distance which are not only convenient for safety but allow no hassle trying to park. There is also a gas station right across the street making filling up east. Another amenity they added is an actual park spot next you site making parking convenient. Lastly, I love animals and the ones within and surrounding were so cute.

I dont normally stay at private campgrounds as I am on a mission to visit every public campground in the great state of Texas. We needed to stay in Fredericksburge for a family affare and this fit our needs perfectly. plento of room to walk the dogs, level sites and easy access to the area.  If I am ever in this area again and need a campsite I will state here.

We stayed here two nights to enjoy Fredericksburg and some hiking.  The welcoming was hands off due to COVID and was taken very seriously.  The site as good and required no leveling.  Easy access with full hook ups and a pass through.  The dog park was good, but basic. Overall the park was quite and well maintained with nice landscaping.  The street view needs some help, but don't let it stop you from coming in!

The Enchanted Rock state park was out of openings (over night and day passes) and were not accepting drive ins for hiking, so plan ahead of you want visit.  The did offer other attractions that we took up (bat cave, cross mountain ... both short hikes, but interesting).  We visited the local fort and of course the town.

Will stay again if passing through and can't get in at the state park!  Thanks!

This a very clean, secure and quiet park. There are a lot of drive through sites and plenty of room. It’s the closest RV park to Luchenbach. There is spoil however it was closed due to COVID-19. It has a dog park also. If you want shade get in the back. If you want some sky for satellite service get in the front.

Park is convenient to lots of local sites. 

Contactless checkin well executed. Reviews point out they are a stickler for the rules. But in this Covid world, we are ok with that. Ladies I spoke with on the phone were friendly and reviewed the rules clearly.

Nice open dog park with no messes to avoid. 

Spots are close together, but a privacy panel makes it a bit better. 

Sites level; most are pull through. And many have great shade.

We have stayed here several times! Spaces are nice, there room between campers and the huge oaks give lots of shade!
