Dodge City RV Park near Alvarado, TX, offers a setting with flat terrain and open spaces. Temperatures range from the 30s in winter to the 90s in summer. Nearby attractions include Lake Alvarado for fishing and boating, and the Fort Worth Zoo is less than an hour away.

We have 85 sites, large enough to accommodate almost any size RV. We have pull-thru, back-in and shaded options. Each site has full hook-ups and include 20/30/50 amp service.

Clean restrooms and showers, laundry, propane, free wireless internet, and now free Cable TV are all available. We are family and pet friendly too!

Good spot for camping

Been there last year during out trip to Texas( mainly hiking in Britton park and a few other local trail spots and camped at Dodge City RV park)

Pros: good clean spots for camping, everything you might need is pretty close
Didn't try RV spots, but those looked really nice too.

Cons: Didn't find any.

If you gonna be visiting TX during June-July for trailing and camping - my advice is: make sure to get a pair of comfy shoes(my go-to are Brooks men's running shoes like those https://rununited.com/mens-footwear/) - trails are pretty rough and it's extremely hot and humid near bodies of water... Gotta dry your shoes every few hours
