Neat place to stay.

This is a couple of miles off of a main highway coming down from Severeville do not follow GPS directions through a torturous path of 15 miles of white knuckle driving.

Riverbend

This Campground is like it says on the Little Pigeon River bend. The sites on the river overlooking the river are very nice. They have weekend entertainment and church services on Sunday. The sites are gravel with some being pull through. No frills like a pool and the bathrooms are temporarily closed. The location is super for visiting attractions in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The Great Smoky Mountains are easily accessible. We stayed for a week and loved it.

Walking distance to everything

We stayed here because we were at a convention at the adjacent hotel. It was great to be able to walk to and from the hotel conference. There was also a few restaurants nearby. The campground itself was quiet and and river nearby was clean and peaceful. The site was a moderate size and when we were there in September there were hardly any other campers.

Weekender

This is by far one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. The office staff was very friendly and she even stayed open late to check us in as we was coming in after 8:00PM. The campground was not overly packed in with campers and there was good amount of space in-between each camping spot. They offered tubing and swimming in the creek that runs along the property.

We had a full service RV site with 30 amp electrical, water, and sewer straight across from the bath house. The bathhouse was nice with three showers with good pressure and very clean. They also had laundry service but we did not use since we were only there for two nights.

I think the best addition to this campground, and I know its not for everyone, but they offer Sunday Morning Worship Service. We attended the church service on Sunday morning and we got to hear the gospel group, The Sound, and the pastor was just awesome. He made us feel very welcome to the group of 63 other people present. His message was very touching and he knows his bible. We attend church services every Sunday morning and we did not want to have to miss because we went camping and that was one reason why we picked this campground.

Overall, if you are looking for a campground that is quiet and relaxing. look no further than Riverbend Campground. We will be returning very soon!!!
