      Rural Hill Farm

      Shake out

      We came here for our shake out of our new trailer as it’s only about 20 min from home and we could still go to work. We will probably come back when we just want to “get out of the house” for a few days.

      The place is beautiful and if you want to be in the middle of nowhere, this is it! The grounds are easily walkable with a lot of open spaces. Saw a lot of wildlife so come in slow so you don’t hit a deer.

      Do NOT come in from South Mount Juliet road. The turn onto Couchville Pike is tight for cars, let alone pulling a camper. Come in off of I-840 and you will be fine.

      We got decent wifi and I did a video call without lag. Full hookups (50amp)

      No on site staff that we saw other than grounds crew.

      Cedars of Lebanon State Park • Lebanon, TN • Site 69 • water, electric, and dump station

      This park is beautiful!! It is only 6 miles off the interstate. We only stayed one night (not even a full 24 hours) to visit the State Fair, but would love to come back for a weekend, especially to do one of the cave tours! They have a splash pad and all sorts of activities to do. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen.

      Some of the sites were pretty tight. The picnic table was right outside our door and there was a tree blocking us from opening the awning all the way. There were other sites with plenty of room. The campground advertises wifi, but they were having issues.

      I have T-mobile and it said 5G but I wasn't able to browse efficiently. My husband and brother have Comcast and Verizon and had service and were able to browse just fine.

      Good for a few days.

      Let me start off by saying that this Campground is not very ADA friendly and the dog park is atrocious. In fact the dog park is entirely off limits if you have mobility issues as there are no sidewalks and the dog park is unlevel and kind of a nightmare. Good place to stay overall. We did not utilize any of the amenities other than the full hookups at our site. We would stay again.

      Rules? What rules?

      THEY WILL STATE YOU DIDN'T STAY HERE IF YOU LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW! The river is beautiful along with all the wildlife.(Wild turkeys, cows, horses, deer, donkeys and goats) Pizza and cookies at the store are fantastic. The girls work very hard in the office and are always cheerful and helpful. Location gets a 3 only because it's really in the middle of nowhere. Not necessarily a bad thing! Now for the actual bad. I lived here over a year and things changed so much and its the main reason we just left. Incessant dog barking with no consequences. Way too much dog feces in the park which could so easily be fixed with a cheap camera and lights. Suppose to be gun and drug free. Neither are even close to true. Rules are not enforced at all! Needs new management. When you make a special trip to the office to inform management that there is water pouring out of bottom of rv that the people aren't there and it takes 7 hours for them to walk over and shut the water off?? And these was damage to rv. Fact! Loose dogs running around scaring guests, ripping into garbage, bothering guests kids and dogs. 10 year rule? 20 year rule? Freezers outside campers? This place could be a 5 star with better management and not a family running it like it's their own property. No Christmas or Halloween decorations? Lastly there's a bad review left a few months ago that I was accused of leaving called into the office and ordered to remove by management

      Nice quiet place but too close

      Campsites are door to door. Theyve packed alot of campers in a little area. On the plus side there is sewer hookups at each campsite

      Great but REALLY quiet.

      This campground is nice. Pool and indoor park is great for the kids. But this place is really really quiet. Not bad but we were scared to make a sound.

      Stayed on a Thursday night at a pitch a tent spot. Beautiful farm but unfortunately the tent spots are right next to a very noisy 4 lane highway.
