Nashville I-24 Campground

Nashville I-24 Campground operates year-round from a gravel lot setting that prioritizes convenience over scenery. The facility accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups on both pull-through and back-in sites, though several reviewers note the tight spacing between spots and predominantly gravel surfaces throughout the property.

The campground maintains a mix of short-term travelers and seasonal residents, creating what River R. describes as "super quiet, like crazy super quiet even on the holiday weekend." Staff receives consistent praise for helpfulness, and the facility keeps bathrooms and shower areas well-maintained. The pool provides relief during warmer months, though seasonal closures for maintenance can occur.

Sites vary considerably in size and privacy. Some back-in spots work well for smaller rigs, while larger RVs may find maneuvering challenging on the raised berms that angle sites downward toward the road. CC C. notes "the bathrooms were extremely tidy, well heated, and the water pressure in the showers was amazing." The property includes a dog walking area and occasional live music at the pavilion.

The location provides quick access to shopping and dining options, with cellular service reported as strong for major carriers. Wi-Fi can be intermittent, with some campers experiencing frequent disconnections. The campground accepts reservations and allows pets. For those seeking more natural settings, consider campgrounds just outside Smyrna or nearby retail parking options like The Home Depot — Smyrna for overnight stays.

Many campers appreciated the helpful staff and clean facilities, particularly the well-maintained restrooms and pool. Several guests observed tight site spacing and gravel terrain, though most found the location convenient for Nashville access.

meh...

This campground is fine.  Not great, not bad, just fine.  It's pretty close to the interstate so it's convenient, but not overly scenic or unique.  Sites are about 95% gravel.  There's a pool and laundry, so if you need that you're covered, but there really isn't much more to say about it.

Nice enough but…

This is not bad for a stop near (sort of) the highway. Spots are good size, but gravel. Roads are wide but camp sites are on a berm so our truck angled down. This caused the hitch height to increase making it difficult to un/hitch. Wi-Fi dropped every 5 minutes first day, didn’t have internet working second day. Just outside Nashville if that is a plus. Would stay again but not my first choice.

Quiet spot with great staff.

This was our first RV park experience ever and we LOVED it. Super friendly staff and the neighbors don’t bother you. The laundry room could use a little love - only 1 dryer works and all of the machines are outdated - but it got the job done nonetheless.

Lovely stay

We are RTT campers and chose this place on a whim as the rest of the local tent camping spots closed on October 1st. We were lucky to find they had space available. However, it should be noted that this is more of an RV campground, the traditional tent sites are right by the gate and not very private. The RV slot we were given backed up to a green space that has grazing deer from time to time. The site did not have a fire ring or a picnic table and was a little far from the bathrooms, but it did have power and water available. That being said the bathrooms were extremely tidy, well heated, and the water pressure in the showers was amazing! The other RV’ers were super friendly and the staff was very helpful in our stay and responsive to our request for availability.

Good not great

We were in spot 25 which is a pull through with full hookups. We were in town for the Nascar races. Pros...Full hookups including sewer. Convenient to Smyrna, Murfreesboro, and Nashville. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cons...Spot was a little tight for our 38 ft 5th wheel. With slides on both sides and our awning out we were close to our neighbor. Didn't seem to be much activity in the campground as most spots seem like they are permanent residents.

Overall this isn't a bad campground at all. We would stay there again if we needed to but it's definitely not like a state park with scenery or a resort with amenities.

Great location, friendly staff, nice pool and bath house

I managed to get in here for memorial day weekend at the last minute. My site was pretty small and a back in site but that was no problem since I have a small camper. The site was full hookup and probably the easiest sewer connection I've had at any campground, very low and easy to drain and flush my tanks. This place has a great location close to all sorts of shopping and dining and a short trip to Nashville proper. The staff was very friendly. The pool was nice and well kept. The bath rooms were very clean and well maintained. Mostly seasonal or permanent residents and this place was super quiet, like crazy super quiet even on the holiday weekend. Very eclectic mix of campers here. There were some massive fifth wheels as well as some small, old campers so definitely not a "10 years old or newer" type of park. Only 4 stars due to the fact that the campground is very tightly packed and basically all gravel so not the most scenic or spacious.

Not a bad place to spend time near Nashville

Spent about a month there in a large class A at 2 locations, 1st was a pull through easy to get in and out obviously but way to open only shade a dead hickory tree that still had some nuts that kept dropping on my roof the second was a shady spot along the back fence between 2 permanent campers. Very nice people I was saddened to hear the owners were trying to force out these people who have nowhere else to go. Maintenance man holds a bible study in the rec room from time to time and the office staff was pleasant. Bathrooms and showers were kept clean. Pool was closed during the time I was there.

Great location, easy access!

This park is an older KOA that is now a private campground. There are many long term residents but also a lot of RVers stopping through. This is a true RV Park with full services, propane, a pool, nice dog walking area, and long pull throughs. The park is kept very clean and has great landscaping.

While normally we prefer to be in the country away from the cities, we were here for work and we were very impressed by the care they take for this park. The staff was all very helpful and spent a lot of time making sure campers have a great experience. We will definitely return!

Cellular signals were great for AT&T and TMobile.

There is a busy road outside of the park, but that also means great restaurants and quick drives to things we wanted to go do!

Nice Clean campground

We stayed for 1 night on our way north. Pretty gardens, a shaded site, camp store and a clean refreshing pool. We love sitting out front watching Fireflies there were many.  we had a pull thru with full hook up. Were staying here again this year.

We stayed again in June this year and had a tight site #100 facing another’s front door shared picnic table and fire pit. The pit was to close to the camper glad no one had a fire. The pool wasn’t open they resurfaced it so very bummed about that it was hot. I didn’t like our spot at all.

Good site

Full hook-ups, plenty of trees for shade, laundry, showers and toilets. No frills. They have a pool and a pavilion with live music every once in a while. Pull though and back in sites. Pet friendly. Owners seem to stick to their guns when enforcing the campsite rules.
