When You Need A Shower - They Got You!

A shower that felt like a million bucks! My sister and I were boondocking at Sheridan Lake for 7 days, which there is no running water or electricity. Three Forks Campground was near by. We stopped in one day and asked if we should use their showers. YES! We paid a couple dollars, but after 5 days of no shower, you just want to feel clean. Their bathroom/shower facility was super clean and comfortable. There was even some awesome tunes cranked up, which made that shower even better! We didn’t camp here at all, but our short experience was great. It’s got cute cabins and lots of space for your rig.

An OK place in the Black Hills

We were looking for a campground in the Black Hills in early August. I sent out several emails one evening and got a friendly reply from Kristen first thing in the morning. We pulled in there a few days later. The campground is right at the intersection of highways 385 and 16 right across the road from one of the major stops for the Sturgis motorcycle rally happening that week, so there was a constant motorcycle drone all day long. We had a full service hookup site, which was nice. There’s a laundry facility there that’s functional. One thing that’s a bit off-putting is that they had several visual displays of they’re political orientation. Didn’t really need to see that. Overall it’s an OK place close to a potentially busy intersection.
