Hart Ranch RV Resort

There are a lot of changes going on here. Good and bad.not perfect but okay for a stay.

This place has everything, gas station, golf course, roaming security, paved roads, concrete pads, pet and non pet areas, 10mins to town if you need to, and more. Their rules say $50 fine for speeding which is ok cause there is alot of people walking. Met a nice couple who stays there often, if it was closer to home for me I would too. I should give it 5 stars but I grade tuff.

Lot of activities to do. Shade if you get the right site.

This campground has everything! Pool, pickle ball, volleyball, shuffleboard, tennis, basketball, games.

No campfires but we bring our propane fire pit and enjoy the evenings. Concrete pads. Glamping at its finest.

Wide roads and campsite with plenty of grassy areas in between. It’s got all the amenities and is situated in an actual ranch. The ranch also has a golf course and houses. There is also a school on the premises and it was quite delightful to see teenagers in tennis classes playing in the middle of the resort. There is a nice looking playground and a big pool but it was already closed for the fall/winter months even though it was in the 80s-90s. Nice big grassy dog parks and a trail all around the campground you can walk them on leash. It a membership campground but you don’t have to be a member to camp here. It’s a pretty amazing place! We are here mid September. They are open all year long.

If you have an RPI membership, this place is a no-brainer. It’s a huge and well maintained RV resort with tons of family friendly amenities. Onsite restaurant and convenience store with gas station. Large pool with hot tubs. Tennis, basketball, pickleball, and shuffleboard courts. Mini golf and an activity center that will loan you a variety of sports gear and well as rent bikes and golf carts. A massive dog park. Our kids also attended a 2 day horse camp onsite which was very fun for them and very reasonably priced. The list of activities is endless. Tons of kids biking around and playing, so easy for kids to make friends. They also have cabin rentals and a few tent sites. There’s a weekly rodeo held onsite during peak season. It’s 15 minutes from Rapid City and close to the Black Hills. If you are looking for a base camp to explore this area, Hart Ranch is a great choice.

Even if you aren’t a member, you can stay at this member-owned resort. The grounds are beautifully maintained, multiple pet areas for excercising your fur babies, plenty of activities for kids and adults, a great restaurant on property, and fantastic staff members and workampers!! They have a rodeo one night a week for several weeks each summer. There is a convenience store and gas station on property. There are 50-amp and 30-amp full hook-up sites. Great swimming pool, tennis and pickle ball, miniature golf, bikes, golf carts, the list goes on! Oh, and the wildlife...rabbits and deer everywhere! Close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Badlands National Park, and more! I fell in love with this resort right from the start!
