Enjoy a picturesque sunrise or sunset from our 10 miles of lake view. Bring your fishing pole and prepare to catch fish on one of the top rated fishing lakes in South Carolina (license required). Or, bring your boat and launch into exploring Lake Greenwood's 11,400 acres and approximately 180 miles of shoreline. Our facilities include a camp store for picnic supplies, bait and tackle, hunting/fishing licenses, gas dock, and LP Gas refills. In addition to the two boat ramps, we have 50 boat slips and unlimited dry storage. For those guests who enjoy surfing the web, we also have WIFI (Wireless Internet). Our picnic pavilion is the site of our Sunday worship services and many social activities. Please check our calendar for details. The pavilion is also available to campers for family picnics, birthday parties, and just enjoying the spectacular 7 mile view to Lake Greenwood's Dam.

I stayed at the campground for roughly a month or longer. The campground itself is well kept and clean. There is not much to do at the campground. Supplies can be picked up roughly 15 to 30 minutes away from the campground.
RangerOffice was very friendly. They take you to your site which we always so appreciate. Hookups are modern, nice dog park, propane tank for easy fill ups. Fresh donuts anytime, pizza and chicken wings (bone in and bone out) til 6. Very clean and well maintained. Site was perfect for our 43’ Motorhome and dolly. Would definitely stay again.

The campground is well kept and clean. The owners are wonderful and all amenities are maintained in a like new state. They are constantly improving the campground and have family friendly activities for all. Halloween is a must see event in this camp with everyone decking out their sites.

I love this place, with nice wide sites and many with views of three ponds nestled in the woods. The place was squeaky clean and the bathhouse very well designed. There are fun and funky places to visit nearby. The spring wildflowers are starting to bloom and I remember the scent of honeysuckle everywhere. A great blue heron hangs out at the fishing ponds.
GuideThis is our favorite getaway from Charlotte, NC. Level lots, nice pool, enclosed dog lot, clean bathhouse, clean laundry room & activities. As of April 2024 they have added a nice playground. Lisa is the best host.

I did a quick overnight here, as is custom when I travel for work, and it was spectacular. I stayed at Trailside Camp Site #2, which is one of their remote, primitive sites at the North Lake and all I can say is wow. The views were spectacular, and watching the full moon come up over the mountain was something I will never forget.
The site itself was spartan, as is expected in a primitive site but it did have a fire ring and a picnic table. Site 2 is right on the lake, with plenty of dead wood to get a fire going. The hike in is about 2ish miles of moderately difficult trails, with some amazing views along the way, including a walk across the North Lake dam. The hike was well worth it though.

We enjoyed this free trailhead parking. No bathroom, and the train only woke us up once in the night. Only one other van there with us, so very quiet and peaceful. Lovely walk on the Palmetto trail in the morning. There are also “walk-in” campsites right behind the trailhead signs in the trees.

TravelerWe stayed for a month in January. Lisa was wonderful and very accommodating to us. Our site was very level and tucked back in the corner of the campground. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again.
TravelerThis is a well-maintained park with very friendly staff and guests. Spacious dog park, fresh gravel in the spots, fire pit area with string lights. We had a change of plans the morning of checkout, and they let us check out a little late since the park wasn’t fully booked, which was so helpful and kind of them. The park is centrally located near downtown Greer (very cute with lots of shops and restaurants) and a short drive from Greenville and Travelers Rest. We will definitely be back while passing through this area next time!

Was not expecting the campground to be sold out this time of year so I would definitely recommend reserving a spot far in advance. The price was a little expensive but there’s a lot to do in the state park.

The only problem is the train. It woke us up at least 4 times last night. You can see the train from your campsite.

While we were only here for one night during our return home, even a short visit shows that without a doubt the biggest value at ICC is the expert knowledge, generous helpfulness, and unsurpassing kindness of the owners. Lisa is a gem!

While this is a smaller park, it has a ton to offer. Rv and primitive sites, bathrooms with hot showers, playground for the kiddos, a lake with rental kayaks and paddleboats, and the camp host was super friendly. Easily my favorite state park in SC so far.
RangerThe owner is fantastic- very helpful and friendly. We had a great site, but others along the road were less private. My boys and I loved the pool- Ideal for young children and adults alike. We had it to ourselves! There is also a nice new playground that is good for ages 10 and under. The broad river greenway is 15 minutes away and was beautiful. The campground was extremely quiet throughout our stay. There is one short trail behind the pond that is being built. A day or two here is just right.

Park is very large and some of the wooded areas have been meticulously cleaned. Lake access from campsite is steep with views significantly affected by trees. Bathhouse is clean and well maintained. Staff is professional and courteous. Site #37 felt significantly sloped to me for our setup.
