Description

National Forest

Mt. Hood National Forest

During heavy snow years, snowmobiles will not be able to access the Terrible Treverse area because the area fills with snow due to the high elevations and steep canyon walls. This site is good early in the winter season due to the higher elevation. Follow direction of Meadows parking guards for access to sno-park on busy days. This lot has a five percent grade so good tires are a must. Parking lot has space for 30 vehicles. Trailers are allowed.

Good place to pull off

Not much to it, basically just a parking lot with an outhouse. Good place to pull off and catch some zzz. Great view though!
