Home is where you park it.

Great park for overnight, short term or long term. Moved in 11/25/19, today is 03/22/20. Full hook ups, incl water, sewer, garbage. Electrical is extra. Great people in the office. Park is paved grass at every sight. Close to town, convenient store close by. Showers, restrooms and laundry available for campers.

Closed for season but convenient

Pulled in and the site looked great and was in a very convenient location, however is closed for the season. Facilities all looked neat and tidy. Maybe next year!

Junktown and Methville

Only a couple of spots available to back in to and the others are taken up by the less than desirable full time occupants, the owners or slumlords who own the motel across the street from the park have purchased older RVs and rent them on a monthly basis, it will do in a pinch but do yourself a favor and go to the RV park 5 miles out of town by the reservoir.

Cool rock, but stereotypical over crowded campground.

Drove through here in Aug 2019, and it sure was crowded. Looked pretty standard with rv setups and people walking around everywhere. I think it was like $50/night which is crazy.

Very clean, nice campground

The location of the campground is off to the left-hand side of highway 82 (if coming from Elgin) and down a long gravel road. The sites are spaced enough to where you aren't crowded but there still isn't much privacy. Apple trees are everywhere, bringing tons of butterflies and bees to the campground. The bathrooms looked well maintained. The river is nice to swim in or for rafts/kayaks but as for fishing, we didn't have much luck aside from mountain whitefish. Overall a good campground for overnight.

Great location

Just off the road has a small pool a playground and great view of the blue mountains

Beautiful campground has it all!

Love this campground and will come back. My husband and I usually pull our ‘68 Aristocrat Lo-Liner but on this trip we were “roughing it” with a tent and a small SUV. I was happy that not only did we get a spot on the river, but there were free, clean hot showers centrally located. The back in spots were not too close together. Some spots offer shade, others are full on sun. And the catfish were biting!

Clean but noisy

The campsites were very well maintained and the facilities (bathrooms and showers) were kept up nicely as well. If you choose to stay here I would definitely go for a site away from the freeway. Ours was in B loop and you could hear all the vehicles cruising on by on I-84

Camping ⛺️ around the country 🇺🇸

I found this camp to be very peaceful. The site is small and clean. We stayed an extra night 👍

6 dispersed sites

Beautiful little pull off campground, single loop with 6 sites - pit toilets, fire pit, and picnic table. There is cell reception, $8/night for standard tent. Only issue is it’s close to the road so you can hear when truckers go by, otherwise perfect primitive camping spot
