The campground is right off a highly traveled hwy without and natural barrier to prevent road noise. The sites are pretty close to one another. Still a good place for the night.
My friend & I rode north from Eureka to explore Bear Camp Rd. After a beautiful ride up the coast, we turned inland to find heat & Agness. We first looked for Illahe (closed) then found this. Great spot, excellent shade, and nice restroom. Lots of cars in the adjacent parking lot (people…

Really enjoyed it
Flat paved sites. Can get crowded during peak season as sites are fairly close to each other. Convenience store and Walmart nearby.
Camped here in August 2020. Right at the edge of the dunes. They really pack the campers in tight here so if you like extra space this isn’t for you. Also there are people riding just behind the camp late into the night so may be hard to sleep for light sleepers.

We showed up on a Friday late morning and were able to snag the last available spot. This place gets busy on weekends, while maintaining a mellow and quiet vibe. We enjoyed our stay here, even though we had to move on the next day because there were no available sites for Saturday. If you don't…

Got a last minute reservation for our 39 foot RV. Full hookups, easy pull through! Beautiful and quiet. Hiked down to creek with deep pools and swam.
Great campground close to Oregon Dunes with trails and close to Eel Lake. All of the camp hosts were so hospitable! Firewood bundles only $5 (cheapest I’ve seen in a long time) Clean restrooms and showers. The spots are small but the trees and vegetation give you lots of privacy.
This county park just outside of Grants Pass along the Rogue River is a good overnighter because it is convenient and inexpensive.
It’s $20/night for the tent/ non-hookup sites, $25 for water and electric (30 and 50 amp), and $30 for full hookup. Group camp is $60 and there’s a $5 per add’l…

This campsite is not at all ocean side. If you want cramped rv camping with zero tree coverage this is what you’ll get. Tent sites look nice but this is very much city camping.
Very short walk to beach or jetty. Borders small airport where you can watch planes land or take off, but we only saw one over 2 days. Very quiet. Only complaint is internet is down most the time.
Made reservations two weeks out, mid week. Electrical and water at our site. Pad is level. While park is tree lined very easy to navigate with chase rig. Easy walk to the beach from the campground.

The GPS location takes you to a school bus parking lot. I didn’t see a park anywhere?!
The foliage surrounding your camp is only waist high, and the sites are small, so you are in close proximity to your neighbors. That said, the facilities are immaculate, the trails are AMAZING, and the campgrounds are under a pleasant canopy. Bring warmth, if you are touring campsites in the area…
