Sunnyside Ramp

Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Sunnyside Ramp provides both drive-in and boat-in access along Oologah Lake. The facility includes restroom and shower buildings, with cell service available and alcohol permitted on-site. Recent visitor reports indicate the campground has minimal developed infrastructure, with one reviewer noting the absence of designated tent pads, picnic tables, and lighting. The area functions primarily as a day-use fishing spot rather than a full-service camping destination. Campers seeking more developed accommodations might consider Allens Point R.V. Park or other sites outside Oologah.

You can’t camp here anymore

Unless they have redone it in the last few years, there is nowhere to camp or it’s extremely primitive. There’s no bathrooms, no picnic tables, no tent pad sites, no lighting, no nothing. It is a good place to spend the day to fish and have a picnic but it isn’t what it used to be way back in the day when I was a kid.
