Hiking, Trail Running & Riding ✅

Great small park with a hiking trail that takes about an hour or hour and a half, it has a waterfall, small tiny cave, bridges and stairs. Really well maintained paths, tiny gravel for less mud. Doggy friendly! There is also a 3 mile (ish) bridle trail loop for horses with a couple out and backs. This is the best place to go trail running. There’s also a short overlook path that starts at the nature center.

Great Activities

Fun park if you like a pool, mini golf, frisbee golf and a jumping pad.

Awesome Horse Trails

Miles of well groomed horse trails available with creek crossings, steep hills and beautiful pine tree. There’s a primitive horse camp as well, and places to tie horses at the entrance with high lines. Dogs are welcome to.

Fun Family/Boating Park

Alum Creek Park is a big campground with a lot of RV hookups with fire rings at each spot. There are showers/bathrooms scattered throughout. Great place to take a ski boat and go boarding, skiing or tubing.

Scenic Large Camping Area

This park is fantastic because not only does it offer a large amount of more spread out RV hookups and campsites but also miles of hiking, mountain biking and horse trails as well as a canoe livery down the road. There are a couple waterfalls, a scenic overlook, fire tower, dam, pavilions, playgrounds and lots more.

Family Oriented Local Park

Great activities including mini golf, pool, jumping pad and frisbee golf. Cabins and RV spots available and the staff is friendly, grounds are clean and nicely kept.
