Milan Travel Park

Milan Travel Park operates seasonally from May through November, accommodating RVs up to 64 feet with full hookups on level pull-through sites. Located just off Interstate 80, the campground provides easy highway access while maintaining reasonable noise levels depending on site placement. The recently updated facility features newly paved roadways and a renovated main building.

Sites sit relatively close together on gravel and grass surfaces with limited shade trees in the RV area, though some coverage exists. The clean comfort station includes updated showers and restrooms that reviewers consistently praise. Recent improvements include an additional playground, dog park, new pavilion with fire pit, and designated boat parking areas for those accessing nearby waterways.

Tracey S. notes the facility is "very clean" with decent-sized sites that "look reliably level." The campground sits 15-20 minutes from Cedar Point, making it a convenient base for theme park visits. A pool, basketball court, and playground areas provide on-site recreation options during warmer months.

The park functions well as an overnight stop for travelers, with efficient check-in and practical amenities. For extended stays, campers might explore Huron River Valley Resort for a different setting.

Wonderfully updated!

This campground has been wonderfully updated! The owners have added in an additional playground, dog park, newly paved roadways, newly redone building, a new pavilion, fire pit, and boat parking! We love camping here every chance we get! It is convenient to the turnpike and Cedar Point is just a few miles away!

Nice, easy stop

This campground is right off of interstate 80, and couldn’t be easier to get to! As close as it is, there isn’t much road noise (depending on the location of your site). Sites are a decent size in length, but pretty close together. Most look reliably level. Gravel and grass. Tent and rv sites. Not many trees for shade in rv area, but enough to provide some shade. Very clean comfort station (showers too). Nice play area near the pool and even a small basketball play area 1/4 court. Just 15-20 minutes from Cedar Point which is an easy ride. Overall, I would stop here as an overnight again, but wouldn’t pick it as a vacation spot.

Good

Many level pull through sites. We were just passing through so the ability to not have to unhook was important to us. Showers and bathrooms are very clean and up-to-date. At $40, it was about $5 more than we are used to paying as we travel full time. Particularly since amenities like the pool are unusable due to weather. Very friendly and efficient check in.
