Lovely Woods and waterfall

Seneca Lake and Taughannock Gorge Trail with waterfall is beautiful. However, swimming in lake is mediocre, and lots of steps on the hike. Only 2 showers in each bathhouse and low-end. Toilets are old and a bit dirty. Tent sites are

spacious and somewhat private. Electric sites are small and…

Mosquitos and Sewer Smells

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and ended up leaving a day early due to sewage smells from the leech fields, an insane amount of mosquitos, and rude staff. It’s a shame as the campground has so much potential but it appears that the owners have lost interest.

Kind of crowded but beautiful lake

Had a nice time the campsites were a little close together and there were a lot of people at the campground however it was beautiful. The lake is an awesome color and there is a lot of information about the area and the lake itself around the park. Even though the sites were close together they…

Great weekend

We stayed through this weekend and had a great time and got to see some awesome sunsets. It was a little bit of a walk to get water but we were tent camping so we didn’t really mind. Our site had electric hook ups which we really didn’t need being in a tent but it was nice for charging our…

A1 NYS campground

Large sites, clean restrooms & showers. Should be a model for other state campgrounds. Nice swimming beach & playgrounds for kids. About half hour to Watkins Glen. Beautiful sunsets over the lake.

Great stay, choose your site wisely!

We stayed 2 nights at site 1002. I think this site is one of the best in the campground! Very secluded and private. Be weary that some of the camp sites are closer to playgrounds than they appear on the map.

Great facilities, dumpsters, potable water! Bring lots of bugspray and fire starters as it…

Crowded Camping

We had a good time here but was very crowded. We found some more sites through Hipcamp. Highly recommend Pooh’s Corner for a more private campsite.

Great access to gorge trails

We have stayed here twice and at the nearby KOA once.

This campground has walkable access to both the gorge and rim trails. The highlight of this area. There are many things to do in the area so I will plan to stay at least 5-7 nights next time.

The sites are spacious. It is in an old growth…

Overall good experience

The site was good size and included a picnic table and a fire ring. Site however was very close to other sites and not very private. had to pay with quarters to shower not a problem but inconvenient. Site was very close to water and boat launch and that was great.

Two quick stays

We loved this park. Nice that there are lots of options in town for food as we were traveling. We stayed in June and July. Our first site (81) was fantastic the second (118) was smaller and very muddy due to recent rain.

Solid option in the finger lakes.

We camped here for 3 nights, I had an event in Geneva. Location was handy, easy in and out. It’s an old navy/Air Force base that was converted in the 60’s. Sites have a weird thing with one electric post per two sites… but they aren’t pull through. So, apparently, New York doesn’t care if you just…

Quiet, Beautiful, Something for Everyone

We have stayed in the 300 Loop and 400 loop on different occasions. These are non-electric tent camping loops, bathrooms are a short walk from spots, if you have kids there is a playground by the more open spots in the inner part of each loop or you can stay in the more secluded outer ring of the…
