Darien Lakes State Park's terrain is hilly with woodlands, ravines, streams and 12-acre Harlow Lake. Darien Lake Campground has a total of 154 campsites, 141 with electricity and 13 primitive sites without. Also available are heated comfort stations and showers, a beach, playgrounds, fishing, hiking and horseback riding trails, picnic areas and a rustic bridge over the lake channel to Picnic Island. In winter, multiple-use trails are open for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Darien also has two picnic shelters available for a fee by reservation only.
Camp, glamp, rent an RV or stay in a cabin beside the Darien Lake Six Flags. Access full hookups, pull-throughs and standard sites. Darien Lake Camping allows for access to both campsites and the theme park with Six Flags packages. This is a fairly new campground on Grand Island near Niagara Falls. There a lot to do here, kayaking the pond, 2 zip lines, miniature golf and great pools. The bathroom/showers are spotless. The sites have a decent amount of room and many have a lot of shade. They have back in or pull through sites, cabins, tent sites and even yurts.

The best part of Golden Hill is being right on the shore of Lake Ontario. The Lakeside sites are the best bet as you get an unobstructed view of the incredible sunrise and sunset over the lake. The shade and privacy is nothing to speak of, but the views make up for that. The lighthouse is also worth checking out. There are also Yurts here that can be rented.
RangerLocated a short drive to the Falls, on the "less busy side", to boot! Sites for all types of camping available as well as nice new cabins and yurts for rent! There's a pretty large pond with a picnic island in the middle and a beach. Playground, mini golf, weekly free activities ranging from root beer float night to a traveling Birds of Prey show! Nightly Hayrides around the grounds, and rentals for various boats available. Adult and kid zip lines. The bathrooms were seriously nicer than most home bathrooms. Beautiful! Grounds were very well kept & staff friendly. There is also a unique salt water pool and activity hut. Love love love this place! We didn't even want to leave it to go to the Falls!

This is a huge park on Lake Erie about an hour from Niagara Falls. Th day-use picnic area and beach are quite nice, clean, and well cared for.
The campground is another story. The tenting are is basically a field with no privacy. Yo can see the lake on the other side of a chainlink fence. In wet or rainy weather the whole thing becomes a swamp.
The RV sites are also close together, although a few of them seemed private. There are also 5 yurts that w really nice. Restrooms were filthy, with hair, empty shampoo bottles, and razors on the floor. Dumpsters were all really full and we didn’t see any staff people at all.
If you do visit, I suggest going for the day to picnic and swim, and skipping the campground.

TravelerThere is so much to do at Lazy Lakes! From fishing to pools the kids always had something to do. I enjoyed the wine tasting and flea market. It was pretty quiet at night, which is nice as we are early risers. The sites were pretty close together, but since everyone was friendly it wasn't a huge deal. Overall it was a fun weekend with a lot for kids to do.
ScoutWe have camped here several times. Bathrooms are very clean along with the showers. They are cleaned on a daily basis. Store on site has just the bare amenities. Big clubhouse, 2 heated pools and a pond to fish (catch & release). Sites are big. Pet friendly. Staff are very friendly. 10-15 minutes from Niagara Falls and close to stores. It does have 2 on site laundry facilities but the dryers take a while. Enjoy going there.

This is a good campground that's not too far away from Niagara Falls. The restrooms were very nice, the store was small but ok, the staff were helpful, the pool looked decent although we didn't use it.
The only issues we had were the absurd amount of mosquitoes literally all day long. They were relentless! Also there was alot of mud in our campsite and others.
They also allow dogs! This is always a plus.

Biggest issue I had were the overly pushy camp hosts… just seemed stuck in our business… past that it was quick access to Niagara Falls and many other great attractions! Great restaurants near by and the reservation is super close which offered the cheapest fuel prices I’ve seen in months! Fill up!

The store had weird hours, once it was locked up (early afternoon) and the employee watched us walking to the store so he drove up in his golf cart, waited for us to make our purchase, then locked the door and left. The location is good, very close to Lewiston, Niagara Falls, and Canada.

GuideWe experienced an accident right up the road from this KOA. A helpful local towed us to this campground! It was dark and we accidentally had reserved a spot at the wrong KOA. The person on nightshift was So kind and helpful! We spent 3 nights here while the truck was being worked on. While unsure about how long we would be needing to stay the front desk lady was less than accommodating though. It’s a big beautiful campground! Very clean and beautiful grounds. So grateful we got “stuck” here!!!

TravelerWe arrived late and our site info was in the night drop so all good. It is right off the roadway so there is some road noise. However it is a heavily populated area and we just needed a layover place to base out of for our quick visit to Niagara falls. We left the RV at the KOA and drove 15-20min to the falls. We timed our visit well the park was pretty empty in mid-October but the weather was still nice. Would recommend this koa for visitors to Niagara.

ScoutWe rented a simple cabin and had a very nice weekend. The play areas and pool were great for my 9 year old. The bathrooms needed a better cleaning system, the one closest to us got dirty quickly during the weekend so we tried another area and it needed a good cleaning too. Prices were a bit high for basic items like firewood and ice but somewhat expected in a tourist area…Otherwise staff was nice and the cabin was clean and spacious.
GuideSites are easy access, rock bed for the sites, you are escorted to site. Easy access to local attractions, including Niagara Falls. Multiple things to do around the local community and on the park. Internet is really good and has been upgraded recently with 2 G and 5G access. Bathrooms are clean and functional. Staff is very polite.
TravelerKOAs aren't my first choice - I don't use the extra amenities and the tent sites are often pretty out in the open. That said, usually I am happy enough with what I get and can count on almost always get a site last minute. This KOA was terrible -- the tent sites didn't have the standard nice flat KOA tent pad and the only level spots put you inches from the road. No trees, bushes, etc between them (but that's not unusual). Bathrooms (main and family cabins, which were a nice option) were not busy but also not clean at all - no set schedule and we never saw anyone cleaning them while we were there. Next to busy loud highway (not something they can do anything about, just an fyi). at least average KOA niceness for $50/night - the experience fell far short of that.
