Glimmerglass in late September

Quiet campground near Cooperstown. Lots of little shops and entertainment. Clean. Friendly staff.

Great little campground

We had a walk in site and it was fantastic! Right on the water and pretty private. Each walk in site has its own bear box and outhouse. Do recommend bringing something with wheels. It’s not too far from the parking lot, but it’s far enough to be annoying to carry everything. Nice even path. Most of…

Max Shaul State Campground

Great small campground. Lots of space between sites. There is a well traveled road near the park so you get traffic noise. The bath house is clean and modern. $27.50 /night for non-resident.

Older campground in a nice area

Nice location, near good food and wineries and breweries, owner was very nice and welcoming. We camped with two other couples and the owner was able to accommodate us and put all three of our units together. My main complaints were the pedestals where we were were in the bushes directly behind the…

Nice Place, well, most of it

Campgrounds were kept very nice. Plenty of water and bathrooms around. The site we had was right on the river, so it was pretty and the sound of the water was pleasant. However,,, the sound of the neighbors literally 6 ft from you wasn’t. So I wouldn’t mind if they planted some more bushes etc…

Good enough stop over.

This place is right on the river and the freeway! So it’s kind of loud the people are super friendly and had fresh vegetables and home baked goods available. There’s always snacks. All the sites are full hook up I’m pretty sure . They used to have tent sites but no longer. The river is very pretty…

Nice quiet campsite. The majority of the trailer/RV's here are seasonal people. Under new ownership (very nice young couple) as of August 2021 and they plan to make many upgrades to the campground. The roads are tight for larger trailers/RV's and some sites are very hard to get into. 20 & 30…

Great spot

Got a camp site right on the Delaware River. Was able to fish, swim rent tubes and kayaks. What was also great was firewood delivery and the campgrounds are dog friendly

Don't be fooled

This campground advertises lots of activities, but be aware that everything costs extra. They seem to have figured out every way to make an extra buck, but don't seem to be putting anything back into fixing up the basics. Our site had a nice concrete pad, but the parking spot was mud. In fact, we…

Great spot !

We absolutely loved camping here! The park is very well maintained. The lake is gorgeous. We almost had the place to ourselves.

Definitely recommend

Very clean and right next to the river. Pool is nice. Everyone is super friendly, especially the owners who will not only help back you into your site but will also bring you wood to burn or level your camper if you need. Easy accessible boat ramp. Close to good food and many things to do. We'll be…
