Nice Place, well, most of it

Campgrounds were kept very nice. Plenty of water and bathrooms around. The site we had was right on the river, so it was pretty and the sound of the water was pleasant. However,,, the sound of the neighbors literally 6 ft from you wasn’t. So I wouldn’t mind if they planted some more bushes etc between the sites. It would add a little more privacy as well. Other then that it’s a very nice place. The area is fun and Mongaup pond is close by.

Very quiet and remote campground

Spent last weekend there, was very quiet and well maintained. Bathrooms were very cleaned and everybody respected COVID-related social distancing. Would come again!

Nice enough

For camping not to far from the city it's pretty alright. Right on a little river with a mix of spots out in the open or nicely nestled in the trees. Was able to get a spot last minute. The crowd was relaxed. Nobody partying it up too much. Lots of kids but not crazy. Wouldn't be my first choice, but wouldn't hesitate if other places were full.

Clean, river view

This campground was so pleasant, very clean and quiet, I loved how close the river was to our campground, only a few steps away. I would’ve rated 5 stars if we had more privacy and weren’t so close to our surrounding neighbors

Clean and quiet

Checking in was easy and fast. We got to our campsite (which was easy to find) and found it clean and ready for our stay. The 3 nights we stayed were very enjoyable. No late night partying or rude neighbors. Our site was on the Beaverkill River and provided a nice tranquil sound. We even had a resident chipmunk who was a blast to see running around looking for crumbs we may have dropped. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked and even though they ran out of toilet paper, they were fast to refill it. Overall I would definitely recommend this campground for anyone looking for a weekend in the Catskills. I will end with the reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5. My only complaint would be the size of each campsite. Some are larger than others but overall most sites are fairly small and there isnt much privacy between them.
