About

Our historic property is situated on a main road, yet feels secluded and was one of the first settled in our county. Our farmhouse was built in 1840! There's a small cemetery on the property with tombstones from the civil war era, hiking trails where you can find treasures from the past, birds and wildlife galore.

Big plans and adventures start here! Lives have literally been changed from staying on our property. Come dream, plan and start your future from the deck of your tent in our back field where you'll be afforded plenty of privacy.

We welcome people of all races, cultures, gender identities and sexual orientation. We do not tolerate racism or bigotry on our property.

We can give you all sorts of tips about our favorite nearby outdoor, art or food attractions! Also great spots for fishing, hunting or kayaking!

We are: 3/4 mile to a Susquehanna River boat launch 12 miles to a Delaware River boat launch 15 miles to Binghamton and Binghamton University Campus 5 miles to Animal Adventure with the famous giraffes! 5 miles to Nathanial Cole Park a few hours to New York City

Please note that not all extras are available during the week. You can message us first to inquire.

Amenities included:

  • a recently added full sized gas grill with a side burner! (please turn off gas tank between uses)
  • Outdoor shower (a 5 gallon pail of water with a battery pump)
  • Outdoor "kitchenette"/handwashing station
  • fire ring with grate
  • Weber charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal or pre-order from us)
  • a small cooler for your use
  • a foam mattress on the bottom bunk
  • air mattresses blown up before you arrive on the top bunk
  • 2 lawn lounge chairs
  • shade umbrellas
  • 4 outside chairs
  • 2 inside chairs
  • nice solar lighting (in case you're afraid of the dark, like me!)
  • one rack of firewood - kindling included

Please note that many of the activities listed are nearby activities, not on site. Tentrr doesn't give us the option to click "nearby" vs "onsite". Message and ask if you want to know which!

The Space: Historic farm across from the Susquehanna River.

Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). If you have any questions regarding your reservation, please contact Tentrr Customer Support.

Other Things to Note: This will all sound so "rule-ish" which we hate, please know we LOVE having guests, but have found it necessary to give some guidelines.

Don't drive low riding vehicles up to the site. Your vehicle must be approved by us before driving to the site. It is a walkable distance from your car to the site if you can't drive to it. We will help you get your stuff to and from your site (1 trip in, 1 trip out) if you can't drive up.

Only 2 vehicles at the site per group, the other vehicles get parked in our driveway.

PLEASE separate your recycling from the trash! We keep having guests fill the garbage with recycling and it's very upsetting to us. It's not good for the environment and it unnecessarily fills our garbage can (which we have to pay for pick up with items that don't need to be in it).

Please don't litter, that's totally uncool.

Please do keep dogs on leashes. We have a Livestock Guard Dog, Ursa and sometimes my son's dog (also a Livestock Guard dog) Harty visits. You are welcome to bring your dogs, but you really need to keep them at the campsite, Ursa is not friendly to other dogs. He is leashed, so it shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep your dogs at the site. And please clean up after them, of course. There is a shovel at the site for this purpose.

Explore the property, take a hike, ask what we have growing in the garden, we love to share!

Please don't attempt to leave permanent markings of any type on our property.

Please do put your trash in the big green trash can by the camper at the entrance to our property.

Please put recycling in the recycling cans.

Please leave the property, tent, etc. as clean as it was when you arrived. If you break something, please offer to replace it.

If you used the dome tent, please carefully pack it all up, unless it is wet, then please leave it out to dry.

Please zip up all openings in the tent when you're leaving.
