Words cannot describe how bad

My girlfriend and I purchased a season campsite which was beautiful. The old guy who runs this place is going senile as well as having dementia. Low water pressure, constant sewer plug-ups, tree blew down on my girlfriend's car causing extensive damage and the campground had no insurance to cover it. They were clearly liable and negligent and should have had the tree removed because it previously was damaged from the wind and a large Branch came down on a camper. You have to buy your own firewood the people are rude I can go on and on please go up the road to the KOA

Frequently Asked Questions

What amenities are available at Brookside Beach Campground?

Brookside Beach Campground offers limited amenities compared to other Lake Erie campgrounds. The facility has water hookups, though campers should be prepared for occasional low water pressure. Sewer connections are available but may experience intermittent issues. The campground primarily serves as a scenic base for enjoying Lake Erie views and accessing regional attractions rather than offering extensive on-site activities or facilities. There's no organized entertainment or scheduled events at the campground itself.

Is there beach access at Brookside Beach Campground?

Yes, Brookside Beach Campground provides direct access to Lake Erie's shoreline. The campground's main attraction is its proximity to the water, offering excellent views of the lake. Visitors can enjoy the beach area for relaxing and watching the water. The setting is peaceful and scenic, making it ideal for those seeking a quiet lakeside camping experience. For more active beach recreation, visitors might want to check nearby public beaches with additional amenities.

How does Brookside Beach Campground compare to the KOA in Westfield?

Brookside Beach Campground is distinctly different from the KOA in Westfield. Brookside offers beautiful Lake Erie views and waterfront access but provides fewer amenities and organized activities. It's more suited for campers seeking a quiet, scenic spot primarily as a base for regional exploration. The KOA likely offers more extensive facilities, planned activities, and recreation options typical of the KOA brand. Brookside experiences maintenance challenges with water and sewer systems that may not be as prevalent at the more commercially managed KOA. Consider Brookside for lake views and the KOA for more amenities and family activities.

Where is Brookside Beach Campground located near Lake Erie?

Brookside Beach Campground is situated directly on the shores of Lake Erie. While the exact town isn't specified, it's positioned in the vicinity of Westfield, New York, within the Lake Erie wine region. This location makes it convenient for visitors attending the Erie Wine Festival and exploring the area's numerous wineries. The campground's lakefront position provides scenic views and easy access to the water, making it a good base for exploring the southern Lake Erie shore.
