Tips from RVers
Hookup availability: Chautauqua Lake KOA offers premium sites with full hookups for larger RVs. "We opted for a premium pull-thru site, which included furniture and a concrete patio," writes Cassandra C., adding, "Our site was a pull-through by request, and the beautiful surroundings of greenery and dew with shimmering sunshine had us wishing we could stay longer."
Leveling challenges: Some campgrounds in the area have uneven sites requiring additional equipment. At Buckaloons, a camper noted, "Electric was 30A and our site was not level, but we were able to find the right spot."
Water access locations: RV campers should plan water access carefully. A visitor to Buckaloons advised, "Finding fresh water outlets was a challenge since they were not easily labeled... We realized on the way out there was a fresh water hookup at the dump station with plenty of space to easily park and not taking up space in the loop."
