Depends on What Campsite You Get

Some camp sites are very large and only for 18 and over, super nice, and next to big trails. Some camp sites are incredible tight and congested. There are lots of trails, fishing, and side-by-side action.

Dog friendly, but lots of dogs.

Staff is accommodating and you can trail walk, street walk, and free shuttle into town.

Great park for camping and/or working

This is a great campground for your adventures in the Red River and surrounding areas. A lot of people have ATVs here so there must be trails nearby. I’m working on this trip and I have 4 bars for AT&T. Not trouble connecting and staying connected with my hotspot. Sites are tight, but that’s just the way these days. Sites by the river are best but none are bad. The map on the website isn’t quite to scale so if you are looking for something in particular, it’s best to call the office. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous campground,

The paces are spread apart and many line the creek that runs through it. The park is tiered so some RVs were up in the taller trees. We loved this place, it's not far from town but fills like it's deep in nature. Red River is an adorable town to boot.

We had great Wi-Fi as well. Couldn't have asked for more.

Breathtaking Views

This park was a great choice. Tucked in a canyon with a stream running through it, we secured a spot on the water. Large pine trees, tiered spots, walking distance to the cute town of Red River.

Small gift shop with very few items, no firewood for sale that I could see. Friendly staff, dog park, fishing, deer come in every night

Nice quiet place to stay.

Stayed here for a weekend, this place is tucked away and quiet. Spots are well spaced and grass all around. The river runs through the park.

They have the park devided up well with space for even the bigger rv's they have a nice fenced dog park to let your dogs run free for a bit. Full hook ups shade trees and a fare amount of spots that back right up to the river, wifi throughout the park that is spotty at best and after one week they do charge for it Verizon was 4G the whole time.

Staff is super friendly and helpful, they have wood to purchase for fires but it is not covered and feels fresh cut so its not dried you will more than likely smoke out the camp site it's also 10.00 for a bundle which is pricey, but they deliver it to your camp. The gate coming into the park is tight so when the gentleman says make a lazy turn he means a REAL lazy turn. Would definatly come back here again

Awesome

Beautiful well maintained campgrounds. On the Red River. Easy in and easy out. Probably one of the best in New Mexico.
