Great park for camping and/or working

This is a great campground for your adventures in the Red River and surrounding areas. A lot of people have ATVs here so there must be trails nearby. I’m working on this trip and I have 4 bars for AT&T. Not trouble connecting and staying connected with my hotspot. Sites are tight, but that’s just the way these days. Sites by the river are best but none are bad. The map on the website isn’t quite to scale so if you are looking for something in particular, it’s best to call the office. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful Spot

Great base camp to explore Glenwood Springs and Aspen areas. Or, just relax and enjoy the scenery. The campground is one mile from the charming town of Redstone. Redstone Inn has a restaurant with great food, and there are picnic tables outside the restaurant if you want to bring your dog. I stayed in the loop with water and electric hookup, but there are two other loops with dry camping. The views are amazing.

Great Overnight Spot

I have stayed at this KOA twice on my way home from Rocky Mountain National Park. The park is right off I-70, the sites are all pull through and level so you don’t have to unhook - just pull in and relax. The staff is very friendly, the dog park is big and clean, and you can get a homemade grab-and-go breakfast on your way out the next morning.
