Situated right next to the Gallinas Creek among big Ponderosa Pines and mixed conifers EV Long CG provides a rustict type camping experience. Uses: tent and RV camping, picnicking, hiking and fishing. Facilities: 3 vault toilets, tables, fire rings, grills, and trash bins. A total of 14 camping units exist (first come basis). No hook-ups, dumpstations, or showers available. Special Instructions: Users are encouraged to recycle and pack out trash. Nice campsite. Camp hosts were really nice. No luck fishing. Close to Elk Mountain and Hermits Peak for hiking Looking forward to going again this year

Directions
In Las Vegas, NM, take State Rt. 65 north 15.2 miles to Johnson Mesa sign (at end of pavement). Turn left at sign and go 0.1 miles to campground on right.
