Stay at Santa Barbara Campground in Northern New Mexico. Was a beautiful spot. Road to Campground was well taken care of Beautiful trails throughout area
4 small mountain lakes around two campgrounds. Lower campground is within walking distance to 2 lakes
We stayed at campground 3 which was on the top of the campground. Had beautiful views of lake and surrounding area
Beautiful clean campground. No fires 🔥 were allowed which was the only thing missing
Saw lots of wildlife (deer, eagle,foxes as well chipmunks). Fishing was okay. Caught 1 fish on pink power bait.
Island view campground site 128 has the best view from campground. This is a no wake lake
Fishing was good. Caught quite a few fish
Showers and bathrooms were very clean and well stocked.
Fires were allowed. Picnic tables and fire rings provided
Very nice campground. Camp host, Dawn, was very pleasant. No luck fishing but several people around us were catching very nice sized trout.
Vault toilets were well stocked and clean. Trails near b for hiking and biking

Stayed in M19 at campground. Clean restrooms No campfires were allowed. Quiet campground. Has fire ring with grate for cooking
Spent the last three days enjoying Apache Creek campground. Large camping sites clean campgrounds and restroom Was able to have campfires
Cool in morning snd evening but plenty of wood around to collect.
No water or electricity.
First time camping in this part of the state. Great campsites in the canyon. Very clean toilets. No campfires were allowed but still had a great time No luck fishing

Definitely need an all terrain vehicle for the drive up to lake. Rough dirt road. Got a flat tire Beautiful mountain lake. No luck fishing.
Nice hiking trail. Can hike to Heart Lake. 9 mile round trip hike. Saw quite a few backpackers
Campgrounds undeveloped. Very crowded. Lots of traffic throughout the day. Game and fish asked us for our fishing licenses
Nice undeveloped spot we found Had picnic table and fire pit. There were a few sites with pits. Beautiful view and very peaceful.
The 2 nights we stayed got very windy but we were camping in a site with few trees for wind barrier. They were several standalone pit toilets.
Stayed here July 12-14,2019. There were quite a few sites available late Friday afternoon. Short walk to lake. Very well kept. Saw several deer and caught a few fish. Definitely worth the drive from Albuquerque
Enjoyed the hiking trails. Definitely difficult in a car. We made it barely. A nice remote campground. Saw quite a few backpackers Looking forward to camping there again this year now that we have a truck
Was there September 9-11, 2019. Best camping trip so far. Camped away from everyone up the hill Had an Elk come into camp about 15 yards from me. Was so majestic She stood there and looked at me what seemed like a long time
Was awaken by the sounds of Elk boggling. Amazing. Caught several Fish and enjoyed them for dinner. Had such a great time went back in October to celebrate my birthday
Nice campsite. Camp hosts were really nice. No luck fishing. Close to Elk Mountain and Hermits Peak for hiking Looking forward to going again this year
Plenty of campsites. Located by the river. No luck fishing though Quite a few ATVs around. Only 2 miles to Sipaupu with a nice little store with firewood and necessities.
