Wonderful View! Good Facilities

Perfect place for a day after White Sands National Park. Only $7 a night and there are bathrooms, garbage bins and picnic benches with shade. Could not be better. It is a ways from the main road so RV access is difficult if nearly impossible due to the winding of the roads. Definitely would…

Great Stop Over

We spent one night here and it was just fine. We drove up with no reservation and the clerk was very friendly. I sell online and she even shipped my package for me. Internet is fine, big covered pool, dog area, lots of picnic tables. We are in an RV so we didn’t hear any noise at all. It’s really a…

Amazing views and cheap

Very gorgeous sunrise, it has toilets and no showers, but very much worth it. Bring water.

Not just a stop over

I worked for a few days in Las Cruces and I don't typically stay in developed campgrounds, especially off major interstates. What a treat this place was. I was very impressed at the quality, cleaniness, and care that has gone into maintaining this facility. Very friendly. It's on the list every…

Stunning Views

We arrived just before the gates closed for the night and set our tent up at dusk. After a comfortable night sleep we woke up to spectacular views from our tent. Nestled at the base of the Organ Mountains, this campground was well worth the $7 to camp.

Pit toilets located throughout the campground…

Spectacular Views

This is a spotlessly clean resort with the usual KOA Journey amenities. What’s special here is the VIEWS. Don’t pass up a chance to visit here. Ps. Internet speed is great and streaming is allowed.

Beautiful, Quiet, and a Hell Of A Drive

Go to this campsite. $7 is a steal compared to all the BS in other campsites. Beautiful views and great atmosphere. Facilities are normal for a primitive camp site and there are no RVs which is nice if you’re tired of generators or slow driving. Can have FIRE, there is shade and there are trash…

Stopped here and kept going, you can do better

I don't know how to add a campground so I'll just review from here. This spot would be fine for a night if you get in late or plan to do the hike at the TH then camp. But you're literally camping in a parking lot. If you keep going down the road a bit farther, turn left onto a BLM dirt road…

Peaceful

This is a great little campground that isn’t usually too busy but it’s spaced out enough that even when it is it’s still quiet. As stated in other reviews the views from this campground are spectacular! It’s a bit cooler than the surrounding areas during the summer too, which is a plus.

This is an “ehhhh” type park

Easy access to the road and both I25 and I10. Sites are gravel and semi level. Park manager wasn’t the nicest.

Great campground

Perfect little campground. The space was level and we had no problems hooking up to water or electricity. Covered outbuilding with a table and a little shade made for a great night.

Views. Nothing but views.

I'm not sure you can pick a bad spot here, but there are a few standout sites. I had 49, which had multiple places to put a tent, and some amazing views (see the sunrise pic from right outside my tent). Every site has a covered picnic table. And there's a fair bit of shade from trees as well.

Good for a night

Good hiking trail but small parking lot. We were the only big rig but there 4 vans and a couple of cars overnight. No trash or water here
