Large, clean sites

It should be noted that this campground is no longer a KOA, it is now a Sun Resort and is called Sun Outdoors Cape May.

Our last stay here was 2 years ago.

First the good:  The campsites are a good size.  We chose a pull through.  It came with a concrete patio and stone/gravel pad. …

Quiet Woodland Campground

Turkey Swamp Park is a great find! Heavily wooded and supremely quiet, it’s located not far from anywhere you’d want to be. 30 minutes to the shore. Every site is a pull-through, large and spacious with great woodland views. 30amp and water. Dump station.

The park has miles of shady forested…

Rustic Cabin On The Water

Atsion cabins are excellent rustic cabins situated directly on the water. They come in a variety of sizes accommodating up to 7 or 8 people.

They must be reserved in advance and a multiple night rental is necessary. They book quickly during the busy season. However, we rented for Halloween…

Awesome Trails But Close Campsites

Wharton State Forest Batona Campground has some of the best trails I’ve hiked.

Downside is the campsite is tight. You must camp in designated spots and reserve online. Not much distance between sites.

However, with the amount of outdoor activities there really is no reason to stay idle in the…

Great for families!

My husband and I came to this campground for a quick weekend getaway with our dogs. We had a great time!

The campground was very well taken care of. The sites had good tree coverage and we didn’t feel like we were right on top of the next site. There was tons of stuff to do. There’s a pond to…

Sandy, muddy, and lots of trees

We have mixed feelings about this campground. The reviews are mostly about the tubing/kayaking. We used our SUPs in the water and we’re fine but we didn’t go far.

Your rig will be covered in sand and it’s quite buggy. However, it has a state park feel with the trees. There are several seasonal…

Summer Stop on New Jersey

We picked this campground because it was close to my niece wedding reception. We made a multi-stop journey here. It was big rig friendly and the site we were at was private. It had a nice barbecue grill and fire rig. The property is quiet and they have lots of amenities for families and kid…

Amazing campground

First off, I want to start by saying I have never seen a campground with bathrooms that were so clean! They have a schedule that they clean them like 4 times a day! Each campsite has water and electric hookups for only $42 a night! The rangers were super helpful in the office, they sell wood,…

Will be back!

This was our first trip to Butterfly and we will be back! Large playground and lots of activities for the kids. Site was large, and had trees and shrubs separating the sites (we had stayed on 105A). Friendly staff and clean bathrooms. Fishing lake is on the smaller side, but people were catching…

Relaxing weekend getaway

We were in spot C2. Very spacious and located directly across from the bathroom facility. Campsite is all sand making it hard not to track into our RV. Large fire ring with cooking rack. Firewood avaikable for purchase at the office for $10. Large dump station makes it easy to get your rig in and…
