Beautiful park

Echo Canyon State park is the perfect camp ground for a relaxing getaway. The reservoir is great for fishing, paddle boarding or just relaxing. There are atv trails everywhere. We took our side by side up to Eagle Valley and found a great hole in the wall general store with a bar. Met some great…

Great weekend getaway!

If you need a breather from Vegas, this is a great weekend trip! Great hiking trails and awesome views! Dog friendly! Restrooms and showers are clean! So many state parks in the area! Hour or less from Echo Canyon SP, Beaver Dam SP, Spring Valley SP, and Kershaw-Ryan SP. Town of Panaca is 15…

Eagle Valley Resort

Stayed here in July for a family trip. Rented a small cabin for my mom and adult sons and an RV space for myself and husband. The cabin was surprisingly clean and well maintained. The rest of the park, not so much. Most of the spaces were filled by permanent residents in mostly run down trailers…

4 stars campsites 1 star lake...

Was excited to finally make it to this lake. First, the camping sites are spaced out and each has a water access point. Plenty of shade on almost all sites. Staying near the top will give you easy access to the trails. Secondly, the sad sad sad lake....the water was sooooooo low, muddy all around…

Hidden gem

You wouldn't think a place like this existed. The campsites are spacious and have electric and water hookups. About a 5 min walk to the main park. The park is extremely shaded and even has things for the kids. My toddler enjoyed the wadding pool!

Electric hookup and close trails

This place was awesome. Stayed 2 nights after driving in from Utah. All sites were spacious and most had shade for the most part. Just depends on what day. Place was nearly empty the entire time. Had pull thru and back in sites for rvs. Site 4 was perfect, as it had lots of shade in the late…

Beautiful views and peaceful stay

Came into the park late Saturday afternoon. All hookup spots were taken but dry camping is no issue for us. Utilized the overflow camping area. Great hikes and found nearby atv trails for our side by side. Much needed weekend getaway!

This'll do in a pinch....not bad, not great.

After a long, hot, WINDY ride down the ET Highway, I was ready for a stop.  I found this place via The Dyrt.  A bit difficult to find the actual entrance, to the north of the camps.  The Visitor Center, to the south, was closed.  The camps are rather exposed, but right on the water's edge.  Most…

Couldn’t believe how gorgeous...

Absolutely stunning it’s a tiny state park but worth the trip. Holy cow trees, grass, playground for kids, camping, tables, flowers, grills, trails, bathrooms. What an incredible place. We had an amazing lunch under the trees inside the coolness of this place. The campgrounds are standard desert…

Quiet, Beautiful Get Away in

Stayed for a couple of nights in April 2021. The campsite is pretty small and also popular, so get there early! We'd gotten some advice to arrive between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. Turned out to be great advice! We arrived at 10:30 and had several sites from which to choose. It wasn't long after we set up…

Nice place to Camp

Located in a narrow canyon. Sites are well laid out with all servics. Day use area nearby has hiking, nice gardens, horseshoe pits, and picnic areas.

Call the park service before you go

The road into the park can get very muddy. My family and I got stuck on the road and had to camp on the side of the road. There is no cell service. It is not a well traveled road but a park ranger did come by the next day and he was extremely nice. He suggested that when the road dried to move into…
