Nice large trees, decent amount of room outside our area, we had no slideouts.
Great campground! Best campground shower I've ever had in my life, both in water pressure, heat and cleanliness of facilities. Be aware that it's first come first served. Sadly did not make it to the interactive nature center, but heard that its super cool. Lower RV spots are on a hill, be prepared…

Nice place to stay, green, nice Lil beach however, the train tack is very close and shook our whole camper. 😳 and take note the play area on the water is closed Tuesdays.
Pulled our pop up to the new Bison Campground. The sites are nice and level. If you are looking for shade or privacy this would not be the place for you, but the amenities are great! The campground offers free WiFi. The kids were able to stream on multiple devices with no issues during a rain…

A short drive off of I80 and close to Omaha, Eugene T Mahoney State Park is convenient if you are passing through NE. It is a large park with more than one campground. Since it is close to the freeway there is the constant sound of traffic. It isn't intolerable, but definitely noticeable. There…
This park is on a strategic upper ground to give you a birdseye view of the flat Platte river. It is also a resourceful place for bird-watching. There are numerous camping sites and picnic shelters. It also has a watch-tower which gives you a scenic view of the river and places nearby.
The park gets really busy and humming in Spring and summer given its numerous campground areas and proximity to Omaha. The facilities (restroom, shelter and trash pick) are very well maintained. One side of the camp area loop rears to the Platte river and you may get good views of the sun setting…
I tent camped in the old lakes part of the campgrounds. There are at least a dozen small lakes part of the grounds. The new lakes are busy and full of RVs. If you want a less busy area, find the older section.
Big beautiful sites, BUT there is a very busy set of train tracks that run about every…
We were looking for a quick detour to set up our tent and sleep for a few hours. This was exactly that. There was a picnic table, a fire pit, a nice breeze, a lake and it was quiet and secluded
This is a nice place to take your kids swimming the water is a little dirty though but it's great because you can access the lake and the river at the same time the train goes right by here though so it's kind of loud
Mostly an RV campground. Sites are right next to each other & very well laid out for easy access. We just prefer more primitive camping. The bathrooms & showers were very clean!
This is such a nice and clean campground! There were lots of mature trees to camp under, and we were also close to the water. Our campsite came with a picnic table and fire ring. We went on a nice weekend the first of April so it was "off season". The price was $10 a night. The game warden…
The road up gets a little narrow and windy, but nothing an experienced traveler can’t handle. It’s worth driving a little further off the road for this campsite. MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH. It’s $25 per night and there’s a pay station as you enter the campsite.
We camped in the primitive area which is provided a picnic table and fire ring. There is an area that they are cutting trees down I'm guessing to make more camp spots. Prices vary by where you camp at.
Grew up camping and hiking here. Not many amenities but the bathrooms are clean and the trails are fantastic. The view is great from the side bluff train. Close to Nebraska city. Tent sites are not too close together. Can get pretty busy on weekends in the summer.
