Rough Road, Big Views

We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful views and quiet sites at Revenue Flats. It was well worth the 5 mile rough road with steep climb at the end. We drove a F450 with triple slide truck camper and made it ok. Also saw a 2 wheel drive 30 foot class C motorhome that made it but would not…

Quiet spot by the Jefferson River

We arrived on a smokey evening, Butte was over 250 AQI and our face masks came in handy. Fortunately, the campground was around 130 AQi.

Waterfall almost in the campground

Lost Creek State Park campground is a 25 site campground along lost creek. This campground sits in a narrow canyon with colorful white and pink granite walls extending over 1000 feet above the campground. If you like waterfalls then you are in luck, after a very long 125 yard hike you will be…

Beautiful but crowded

Lost Creek is in a beautiful canyon spot, with numerous (25) sites to accommodate all types of campers (huge RV’s to tents). Camping spots are nice, but close to one another and the campground is often full. This means, if you do find a spot, you will have to deal with neighbors . There is a…

Great spot with some really neat ATV trails. The road is washborded in spots but it wasn't so bad that we couldn't get our 42ft rig up. We parked in a big pull off under some power lines and there was a nice little fire pit there as well. There was quite a bit of trash around so we picked up what…

Great place to avoid summer heat

I stayed there for a few weeks when the temperature is down in the valley started to get into the upper 90s and near 100. It was a good 10° cooler at this campsite than down in the valleys. You sit right below the continental divide with good access to the continental divide trail. The other big…

Will Definitely Be Back!

Very friendly and helpful staff. You are welcomed with smiles and they show you around the park to be sure you're informed of everything. They have a general store thats cute and homey and the park itself is very spacious. Clean restroom and shower areas. Just be sure to NEVER drive over 5mph as…

Not tent friendly

If you are in a tent they will gouge you for $40 per tent for a crappy tent site with no services, no grass, and uneven ground. Also they will refuse to give you a receipt if you pay cash. Our group had 4 tents so we spent $160 on a poorly maintained tent site. It was an outrageous amount. A large…

Beautiful sunset right off 90

We pulled off on this BLM plot to stay for a night on our way to Washington. We saw a few dirt bikers but they were gone before dark and we were by ourselves. It was safe and quiet and the sunset was a beauty!
