Stolen Items

Our tent was stolen while we were out and about. Upon speaking with the camp host she informed us that this happens often at this campground. Other people in town also informed us that they were not surprised about this. Campsite was pretty, but not worth having your stuff stolen over.

dog feces and mosquitoes

I had to clean up campsite shoveling out a bucket of fresh dog cr ap left by irresponsible filt hy idi ot who let the dog poop all over for multiple days without cleanup, which is illegal and disrespectful of public property. Flies infested the campsite landing on everything, on food and it smelled…

Perfect Dry Camping

This National Forest campground is beautiful. Very spacious sites, paved pads, and decent shade in the Ponderosa loop. Short walk to day use and water access on Swan lake and 16 min to Bigfork, hour to West Glacier. The camp hosts were so nice and sold firewood for $6/bundle.

Hint: there was only…

Very nice state park.

I have known of this site for many years but just recently experienced it. On Flathead Lake with views of the lake. Choose loop B if you want electric. Loop A doesn't have electric and is closer to the highway. Good trails to the lake. There is a place to rent kayaks and paddle boards. The…

Two night stay

The campground host was very active in ensuring the campground bathrooms were clean and tidy. They also went around in a cart with firewood if you needed it. Our campsite was close to a small hiking trail that led to a creek. We saw a few animals across the river which was nice.

The quiet is refreshing

Midweek is good. Like 5 other campers there. I stayed in spot 12, awesome. There’s I think one bathroom. There are bear bins for your food if you don’t have the right kind of storage plus of course bear proof garbage and a pump water source. It’s fairly buggy and after a morning thunderstorm they…

Great Place to Relax

We have been going by the turn off for Lake Mary Ronan for years.  Finally last year we decided to visit this state park with our travel trailer.  We loved this campground from the minute we drove in.

The sites are big with good space in between sites.  Most of the sites have 50amp electrical…

Actually $20 per night

Well worth the 20 bucks. Great sites, a bit closer together, but not bad. The lake is a gem, camp host is friendly and helpful.

Convenient location

Nice location with Mountain View’s all around. Beautifully manicured sites with trees that are starting to gain size for shade. However, the sites are so close together. I don’t understand why RV parks pack people in like sardines. The location is great for Glacier and Whitefish. Lots of great…

Tucked up on the hills

Nice small campground on state land. About 9 sites. Big and private. Some on the creek. Definitely a locals spot. Even a few campers folks pull up there in the spring and leave there till the snow flies. The pit toilet was a bit rough. The 4 mile road to it quite bumpy. Would not recommend pulling…

Lovely hidden campground on the hill

We stayed here while Visiting glacier NP. The sites are very close together but still very nice. It’s tough turns for bigger rigs though. We had a pull through spot.

The office and facilities are clean and well kept. We stayed in 2019.

Bathrooms are locked and private. Nice showers. WiFi…
