Campers can launch kayaks directly from the shoreline for paddling or try their luck fishing the lake's waters. The site serves as a base for exploring biking trails in the surrounding forest, and cell service remains available for those needing connectivity. For additional overnight options, River Point Campground sits less than two miles north along the same access route. This setup works well for self-sufficient campers who prefer undeveloped sites with lake access and don't mind bringing their own water and waste disposal solutions.
