We picked this park for convenience while having travel trailer brake issues. Came at close of season, and thankful for a later evening check in. A little disconnect to obtain a bathroom Code. Fortunately we saw camp hosts walking dogs to gain access. Dog friendly, including nice gated area for off leash.
Old lady was sweet to us, I saw the reviews about her being not so sweet but she was nice and got us in last minute. The gentleman brought us a whole tractor full of wood and was nice as well. Trees were down like other reviews stated, they mentioned they had a massive storm. Not something I feel they should be judged for, they were concerned about my kids and asked them to keep away from the left side because of that.
Reserved this deamy site right on the water. Tent 1 is closest to parking but has the most traffic going by to the other sites.
Pit toilet nearby and a quick drive to flushable toilets. Showers available with tokens from the camphost ($3 for 6 minutes) but camphost weren't around when I was looking so no personal experience here.
Nice large tent sites. They also have a geodesic dome you can rent. Website was not set up yet.
Absolutely love this campground. They were so accommodating when we booked a site our unit wouldn’t fit on they gladly moved us.
If you aren’t right on the water, you’re definitely a short distance away.
The amenities are great and the camp hosts are always friendly. Definitely worth staying here.
This is a cute little camp site. We were right next to the river which was amazing. But some of the sites are for permanent residents, which feels weird. They have a laundry room, showers and bathrooms. Not the cleanest. But do the trick. A little road noisy. But loved the attention to the flowers and the grounds.
I stayed here in December of last year over the holidays and had a great experience. The manager, Paige, was awesome. Very accommodating and nice. The check-in experience was quick and easy and the spot was great. My family and I had a great time and plan on coming back in the future. Town was close by and we were able to see all the destinations we wanted to nearby.
We stayed for 2 weeks this summer and loved everything about our stay. The park was very clean and well maintained and the manager was lovely. You can tell she loves her job. The park is very conveniently located, only 15 minutes from Glacier and a short walk to town. We had dinner at Gunsight Saloon and picked up fresh steaks from Perfect Cuts Specialty Meats. Bathrooms and showers we better than expected and the park wasn't full of noisy families.
Great place. Well-kept, clean and tidy. The staff helps with everything needed. There is space for walking around and grass for children's games and just sitting in front of the view of the forest. Although a bit expensive, these are the prices around Glacier.
Great place to soak up in the hot springs. They have a huge variety of separate pools to choose from. $35 for tent spot and $14 per person to soak in their hot spring pools. Beautiful views all around.
Place very friendly clean showers bathroom are clean .

"Camp Paxson sits on the shores of Seeley Lake, one of a chain of five lakes nestled between the Swan Mountain Range and the Mission Mountain Range in Western Montana. It is a 15-acre peninsula of land that Salish, Blackfeet, and Crow tribes cared for, hunted, and fished for centuries prior to European colonization and we recognize their time-honored traditions and connections rooted in the earth. While the history of the land reaches centuries back, the buildings on this Forest Service landmark are just 80 years old. Camp Paxson originally consisted of a tent camp with six small frame structures. By the 1930s, a larger facility was needed. The Depression-era Works Progress Administration and Civilian Conservation Corps began building the current facility in 1939, and the bathhouses and cabins were completed in 1940. Because of its unique architecture and as an example of the contributions of the WPA and CCC during the Depression years, Camp Paxson was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The camp was originally used by a variety of groups including the Boy Scouts and the Forest Service for their Smokejumper training housing. Camp Paxson is a Lolo National Forest Service site administered by the Camp Paxson Preservation Project, a non-profit organization that operates with the mission to preserve and improve historic Camp Paxson and to advance the public’s appreciation of this cultural and natural resource both locally and regionally through expanded appropriate use. The facility is used by schools, churches, weddings, family reunions, and other gatherings of large groups.
Overall nice RV park, but spots are way to close. And length of spots seem to be slightly exaggerated. My 36’ 5th wheel barley fit in spot front to back. And stairs were down into grass when left side on edge of gravel.
My family and I recently stayed at Rollings RV Park on Flathead Lake in Montana, and we loved it! Although it's all back-in sites for RVs and there's not a lot of room, we found that the park was beautiful and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. They have some tent sites and cabins available as well.
There's a restaurant on-site, but it has limited days and hours. The food was excellent, but it's like being in the UK, where you order everything yourself.
The park is clean, and the sites have a decent amount of space. You're close to Polson and Lakeside, where there are great beaches. The campground has its beach, but you have to drive to it.
One of the best things about the park is the great playground for kids. Our kids loved it!
The only thing we didn't love was the parking situation for guests or extra vehicles, but since it's a small place, we understand that it can be limited.
Overall, we will 100% stay at Rollings RV Park on Flathead Lake again and again. It's an awesome place, and we highly recommend it.
The pics say it all so close to glacier national Park without the glacier prices don't miss this one. Also the lake looks like Caribbean
Sites are simple but well maintained and clean. Enjoyed our stay here and the relative (it’s still a decent drive) proximity to Glacier.
I love Flathead Lake and this campground was wonderful. A lot of the sites are pretty tightly packed together and we lucked out by getting this RV site that was right on the lake and separate from the other campers.
We had a wall to sit on and look out at the water. Too cold for me to swim, but my brother jumped in. It was a perfect peaceful spot to hang out for 24 hours.
An eagle came and sat in a tree next to us for hours.
This is a place I will return to, for sure!
Full hookup sites, big rig friendly, and great location. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Good nightly rate for the area.
Hosts were very accommodating when we let them know we were coming in very late. Clean, quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful views. Almost no light pollution at night, I’ve never seen the Milky Way like this before! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Great facilities and friendly staff. About 20 mins outside of West Glacier. Mostly RV hook ups, but it does have 3 tent spots. Only drawback is it is noisy, since it is in the city.
Great spot close to the west entrance of the park. This was the most reason prices spot I could find in the area. Cool huckleberry shops just a walk away.
Nice size RV campground overlooking Flathead Lake. Amenities: Mini golf, Hot Tub, Pool, Basketball court, Volleyball Court, Dog run, Laundry room, Small market/Gift shop and Small “Sip, Snack, Shack” . Very Friendly staff . Also 4 or 6 Individual showers inside main building along with Bathrooms. Not sure it gets any better than this.
This cabin is so lovely, my dogs had a blast playing in the stream. I was happy to have a big real bed!
This park has super friendly and helpful staff. The park and it’s facilities are clean. The pull through site we had was nicely located in the trees, but isn’t the simplest pull through I’ve seen. There is a nice designated pet area with a small fenced in area.
Full hookups with clean but cheap laundry. They received packages for us
Very friendly, clean, small campground. Kids loved swimming in the heated pool. Clean bathroom and showers.
Very nice campground. Heated pool. Nice bathrooms and showers. Very clean.
