Delightful camp

We spent 2 nights here. Wish we could spend more. Extra effort was made by the staff to make this a special place. Landscape art makes it a fun place to explore. The town of Hermann( 19 miles away) is a beautiful town and great German food. Brand new Dollar/Dollar General store across town. Dog…

Fun Campsite

This RV Park has fun activities for all. Large lake, bike rentals, trails, pavilions etc. Sites were clean. Convenient to town. No trees for shade and large power lines above. We love locally and wanted to try out our new camper before taking it far.

Quiet Retreat

Nice RV campsites with electric and SHARED water. Bring extra hose because the water supply isn’t close for all sites. We needed 3 hoses to reach. We loaned ours to a couple others while there for 3 nights. Bathrooms/showers were clean. Drive along river road was nice. Cute town of Grafton has…

Nice campground

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Facilities were very clean and neighbors were very nice. Read some of the previous reviews about noise, honestly a couple planes here and there. Not a big deal at all. Slept like a baby.

Immersed in Nature

Campground is beautiful and very woodsy. We saw bunnies hopping around and when we first arrived to our site a deer was grazing nearby, such a bonus! No electricity but water was conveniently located right across from our site to do dishes and whatnot. Staking the tent wasn’t difficult at all. Our…

Good location, not much privacy

This was a good layover campground after being on the road. Close enough to St. Louis for a visit to the Gateway Arch and Cahokia Mounds. Showers were clean. Sites are pretty close together with little privacy. Our site (74) was not level. Most other sites seemed level.

Beautiful campground and warm showers

The campsites and grounds are well-maintained. However, the campsites did not have designated gravel tent pads. Given that we had to set up in/right after a rain, our tarp was sitting in grass and mud. I never knew how much I appreciated a designated gravel tent pad until then. Having never camped…

Quite and Peaceful

Me and my husband have camped here numerous times since we’ve gotten a camper and love it every time. Good trails, clean campsites, easily access to stores if anything is needed.

If you are near here, stop, stay - it’s amazing

Wow! From the moment we pulled in Lazy Day is awesome. The husband & wife team that run it are super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, resourceful and all around awesome. The sites are wide, so beautiful, just the right amount of shade and sun. The pool - pristine, the store - adorable, the…

Extremely convenient location!

We stayed here for 10 months. The place did nothing but improve the entire time. Rent is cheap, and the people are nice.
