Simply Fabulous

We discovered this gym. On our way home. Just needed to stay overnight, but will definitely be back. The little details make it very homey. Sites are well laid out and easy to maneuver. Full hook ups or tent sites are available to meet the needs of the camper. Clean facility and family friendly.

Very Nice Campground

There are five tent camp spots located at Lazy Day and we camped on T4 at the very back of the campground. The on site facilities were excellent and clean, and these include a shop (with souvenirs as well as basic necessities and other assorted items), showers, and bathrooms. The T4 spot is pretty well isolated near the back and is right next to the trail that goes to one of the two fishing ponds on site. In addition to the trail leading to the back pond, there is another short trail that cuts through the woods on the south side of the camp. Despite the large size of the campground (about 65 RV spots) the noise level was fine and we went undisturbed while sleeping.

Beautiful place for overnight

Beautiful place! We called ahead to see if they had sites available for the night. Arrived just before the office closed at 6pm. The friendly hosts escorted us to our pull-through full-hookups site. The campsite pads are level, nice and wide, gravel like the roads, with wide grassy areas between and beautiful mature shade trees everywhere. Our site had a picnic table and a small fire ring. That part of the site was not level, which made it pretty and feel more removed from neighboring rigs, but we had to use our leveling blocks under our picnic table. Full hookups worked fine. This was a 50A site so they provided a pigtail converter for our 30A needs.

Bathrooms were so cute!

We would definitely stay here again.

Bathrooms for the win!

This was a sweet little place to stop for the night. The manager was great to work with. If there is any bodies of water we always like to be near them. This one was small but she made sure we could see it even though it was a bigger site and more $ she charged us what our size site would cost. Very generous. The bathrooms/ laundry were like nothing I have ever seen. It shows the love they have for their campground. There was also a nice fenced dog run area with water and a bench . My little pup had a great time playing and being off leash safely. Gift shop was cute too!

Best campground and hosts

Cleanest campground with all the amenities. The hosts are the owners and they are so nice and helpful. You follow them to your site and they deliver firewood if you paid for it. Sites are clean. There is a gated dog park. Everything above is at the campground. Our dog really liked the owner too.

Super nice campground

Lazy Days RV Resort in Danville MO. This is a really nice campground. All gravel pads large sites full hook ups and great decorations. The folks are really nice. We pulled in and Nancy Lined us up but it was a little down in front and her husband came back and wanted to know if we were all right as it was not level and we said we had to take the Jeep off and we would just back up or use our levelers. They were really concerned and that was nice. Never been into a campground where anyone thought about us being level. I love how the laundry room and bathrooms were decorated so cute. They have wifi and did say that as the day went on it would not be as good as folks come in. Was nice for them to tell us.

Nice stop over in

Stayed for one night, water/elec only. Easy on/off the interstate and staff is very friendly. Assigned site was in the back of the park and nice and shady. They have a very nice, large dog park which our pups loved. Being in the back of the campground we had to walk a little to get there, but no big deal. Did not use their showers or bathroom, so can’t comment on that. Booked to stay again on our return trip.

Sitenot sure the number. back of campground, water/elec only

Really cool, would stay again

We stayed at one of the few tent sites. It was a shaded spot under some pine trees, and that came with the occasional tick. No big deal though. There are two “club houses”. We spent some time in the smaller one by the pool. There was a shelf for you to take a book leave a book. The other shelves where filled with hundreds of dvds to choose from to play on the tv. There was also a stove, sink, and fridge. Which was very nice since we had a tent. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were free. The aesthetic of the camp was amazing and rustic. There’s a coin laundry room outside the bathrooms, which was also really nice but we didn’t end up using. We only stayed a night, but will definitely be back.

Nice Place

We stopped in after a day of driving and no campground reservation. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and found us a spot for the night. It would have been easier for them to just say “We’re full” they could see we were spent. The restrooms and showers were nice. Total cost for the night was $33. We will definitely stay again if we’re ever down this way.

Delightful camp

We spent 2 nights here. Wish we could spend more. Extra effort was made by the staff to make this a special place. Landscape art makes it a fun place to explore. The town of Hermann( 19 miles away) is a beautiful town and great German food. Brand new Dollar/Dollar General store across town. Dog part was simple but gave our dogs some exercise. Veteran and Sam discounts.

If you are near here, stop, stay - it’s amazing

Wow! From the moment we pulled in Lazy Day is awesome. The husband & wife team that run it are super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, resourceful and all around awesome. The sites are wide, so beautiful, just the right amount of shade and sun. The pool - pristine, the store - adorable, the grounds - beautiful, the bathrooms - more than you expect and all that you hope for.

We were parked on a hill with lots of gravel. Campsites are very narrow. But there was a very nice pond to fish at although it was a bit of a hike to get to. They have a dog park which was nice.

Very nice campground!

Very nice campground. Grounds maintained well and nice staff. They have some trails on site, and a state park across in the area. Unfortunately not a ton to do in the area so more of a good stop through place or quick weekend getaway if you live in the area. But worth the stay nonetheless. Is reasonably close to Herman but far enough we didn’t make the drive. We’ll come back.
