Better than some

The campground as a whole is not so bad, the neighbors are quiet and friendly, nice pond and dog walking areas. The roads are a bit tricky to navigate and the sites are very unleveled. The staff is difficult to get ahold of and is not around a lot.

Good for a rest

We only stayed one night. Got in late and left next morning. The pull through sites were large and easy to set up. Lots of trees for shade. The highway noise was loud but earplugs worked. The lady on the phone who took our reservation was kind.

Rustic setting

The name says it all. It is a very rustic campground. Gravel roads and sites that aren’t very level. It has WiFi, but you have to be close to the main office to utilize it. I-44 is very close and loud. We stayed 1 night and that was enough.

Nice for overnight

Right off the highway so yo do have some noise. Friendly staff who will shuttle you to the local craft brewery up the road. We walked to the brewery and stayed here again on our return route. Pool and pond also on site
