Daly Park & Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Swimming, fishing, and lakeside camping draw visitors to Daly Park & Campground in Mapleton, Minnesota, where a number of sites sit directly on the water. The campground occupies farmland country in south-central Minnesota, and the lake access is a central draw. Families with kids make up a significant portion of the crowd, particularly around the swimming beach, which some visitors find modest in scope. Cell coverage has come up in at least one review, so campers relying on a signal may want to plan accordingly.

The county-managed facility runs from mid-April through mid-October and provides electric and water hookups for RVs, along with a dump station, showers, and drinking water available throughout the campground. Not every site has its own water connection; Daryl L. notes that the "campground provided potable water as our site had no water," so it's worth confirming hookup specifics when reserving. Reservations are available. Pets are welcome.

The surrounding area gives campers access to additional options. Daly County Park- Blue Earth County and Blue Earth County Daly Park and Campground are nearby alternatives, and those planning a longer stay in the region can browse campgrounds near Blue Earth for a broader range of sites. Campers who appreciate a quieter mid-week visit will find the park settles down noticeably outside of peak summer weekends.

ok...

this is located in the middle of beautiful Minnesota farmlands. the swimming beach leaves much to be desired. lots of kids and families, if that is what you are looking for. it was a very convenient location to a family pig roast, otherwise we would not be here. but, many other people are, and are really enjoying it. so, depends on what you are looking for!
