Superior National Forest maintains Jonvick Creek Campsite as a hike-in or walk-in site near Lutsen, with vault toilets and campfires permitted. The site sits beside a beaver pond rather than an active creek, and that pond serves as the only water source. Reaching it requires maneuvering out on fallen cedar logs. The site itself is fairly spacious with a soft tent floor and cedar cover. Campers who want easier water access may find Spruce Creek Campsites worth considering among the campgrounds near Superior National Forest.
Description
