Deep in Finland State Forest, Dyers Creek Campsite sits far enough from the road that no views open through the canopy. The site is free, hike-in only, and managed by DNR Forestry with a fire pit, toilet, and pet-friendly policy. Dyers Creek itself holds water even in dry conditions, which matters on a long trail day. A few tent spots cluster near the fire pit, while one additional site sits closer to the creek with more separation from the others. Campers who need campgrounds near Finland State Forest or a nearby base with more amenities may also consider Temperance River State Park Campground along the same corridor. Sufficient and free, this site works well as an overnight stop on the Superior Hiking Trail.
